CM Sindh visited the University Road to oversee the improvement work on the mixed traffic lane as well as the new storm water drain. Unfortunate delays have caused a lot of inconvenience to the people which is regretted. However, the remedial work is now proceeding at a fast pace & we should be able to have the mixed traffic corridor completed by 31st July

Visited I.I. Chundrigar Road, which is also clear & traffic can be seen to be moving normally after heavy rain. There is some water on the sides which is being brushed out. The area of Tower is also clear while some water around the internal streets of old city area is also being pumped out

During the construction of the new Azeempura Flyover, old neem trees were exposed due to the construction. KMC parks department is transplanting those trees at the new green zone which is being developed along the loop of Shah Faisal Flyover. All these old indigenous trees are part of our city heritage 🙌

Largest industrial water park of Pakistan 🇵🇰 in our Karachi ❤️ grateful for the release of finances by CM Sindh for completion of the electrical work. Inshallah we are expected to have 35 MGD Secondary treatment facility operational at TP1 by 30th June, 2026. 55mm rain last night — Karachi remains largely functional. Most roads are clear; only under-development areas face minor issues. Where rainwater is present, clear instructions have been issued and water will be removed shortly.
