First initial reaction by Donald J. Trump on India’s concocted crisis on Kashmir: positive statement by President Trump, guarded neutrality: a) ‘I’m very close to both Pakistan & India’; b) Kashmir is longstanding dispute between Pakistan & India, hence, ‘there’s always been tensions’, c) ‘They’ll (Pakistan & India) get it figured out one way or the other’! Bottomline: No tilt towards India & recognition of Kashmir as core cause of tensions between India & Pakistan!
