JUST IN: Today, 16 October 2026, Gov. Alex Otti paid a visit to some newly functionalized Primary Health Care Centres for on-the-spot assessment of the status of primary health care under the ‘Project Ekwueme’ which seeks to rebuild, equip and functionalize more than 270 PHCs across the state. The governor in his usual nature offered to pay off all bills of patients who were currently being attended to in these facilities. #InvestInAbia

Yes, Governor Alex Otti not long ago visited these areas to personally scope the flooding issues around Obohia and surroundings, and soon after directed for a complete change of plan and the construction of a new 10km underground tunnel began in other to evacuate flood waters away from here so that Obohia Road when reconstructed will stand the test of time. Rest assured this is at an advanced stage and the sufferings of our people around here will soon be a thing of the past. We thank them for their patience. However, the authorities concerned will provide temporary relief on the issues of the potholes raised. Thank you very much.

A king is not valued in his own home. If you have agreed to sell out, we stand united behind Mr. Peter Obi. Mr. Peter Obi made APGA what it was in Anambra, he endeared us all to the party and because of his governance style APGA won the governorship election in Imo state in 2011 with Gov. Rochas Okorocha, won in Abia in 2015 with Gov. Alex Otti (which was stolen), and was on course to becoming a truly regional behemoth, but it appears questionable characters have now taken over the party and will see to its demise. The more you attack him unprovoked, the more you inch him closer to Aso Rock, and you will see it happen before your very eyes.

WHAT A JOKE! 😅😂 1. The longest road built by a state government in Abia was built by this Gov. Otti’s admin to connect Abia Central to Abia North which cuts across several LGA’s including the Ohafia he’s talking about, 67.7km road, finished in less than 2 years. Previously completely dilapidated and impassable but now he has a good road to go home and campaign against the governor that built it to make his travel easy for him. 2. Ohafia and environs have been without power for more than 10 years. Right now restoration efforts are at finishing stages after tens of kilometers of high tension power lines and poles have been erected, transformers have been distributed and feeder stations being fine tuned. Several billions have been invested to get to this stage, and Ohafia will be reconnected soon. 3. Several internal roads and streets, markets and other such public infrastructure are being built aggressively by the Greater Ohafia Development Authority which was set up by Gov. Otti in the first few months of his admin to better streamline and concentrate developments in Ohafia and the surrounding LGAs. 4. Another long stretch of road connecting Arochukwu and Ohafia running into tens of kms. Other things like schools, a magistrate court and more are ongoing. Opposition in Abia have run out of ideas. Some of them are campaigning from abroad, the ones at home like Miss Ogala of Sowore’s AAC can only afford to campaign inside their sitting rooms, so they just keep shooting blanks by saying ridiculous things that make them look and sound like JOKERS! #VisitAbia
