The year is 1994. You just found a Virtua Fighter cabinet at the arcade and your dad is going to let you play. BEST DAY EVER. 🥲

In 1996, my Dad found a bargain bin at Sears Funtronics filled with the Sega Saturn games. They were all marked down to $5 each. He bought all of them. This was only the first part of his plan to scam Toys R Us. 😬

This is what they are taking from us. 💔 Guys, the industry is doing everything it can to kill physical games... I refuse to let go.

In 2001, GTA 3 became the first video game to ever get banned in my house. Dad was not having it. 😬

It's Y2K and you just got a Sega Dreamcast... But your dad set up the internet wrong and it called the police. This really happened to me. 😅

I totally would have bought a Sega Venus. This was the prototype version of the Sega Nomad which was basically a portable Sega Genesis. Probably would have sold better if it looked like this!

Video games have always been expensive guys. My mom thought $50 was too much for a NES game in 1990. She and my dad even got into a fight about it. 😅 Were any of your parents the same way?

GTA 3 dropped on Oct 22, 2001. Just one month after 9/11. For me, it marks the exact moment pop culture traded bright arcade optimism for gritty urban cynicism. If you lived through it - Did the world's vibe change that fall, or was gaming just growing up?

In 1997, Star Fox 64 gave us a reason to buy a Nintendo 64 if we hadn't already. Best Star Fox game ever.
