I keep reposting this because it’s life saving - CAD is (silent)killer disease and one strike can be fatal If you have a strong family of Heart attacks( angioplasty/ cabg / sudden death in either of parents, siblings , uncles/ aunts, cousins before 50 s ) pls get lipid profile ,Hba1c, hs- crp and and CT coronary angio . ( by 30 yrs) , Youngsters in 30-40s with dyslipidemia die of CAD many times which can simply be avoided with good dose statin Here s why- yesterday s story A 35 y /o male , hx of effort intolerance 6 months , being treated as “ DCM” elsewhere , ( LDL _ C 320 mg/dl🫣) ; father had SCD at 40 years Worsening symptoms of crippling angina 2 days . Ecg poor R wave progression; LV 25%. Trop^. BP 70s CAG 👇 Lad ostial 100% , Cx /ramus 99 Mid RCA CTO bridging collaterals . Many wouldn’t even reach cath table #MedTwitter #CardioTwitter
