LEOPARD ATTACKS FOREST OFFICIAL DURING RESCUE OPERATION IN KARNATAKA A leopard that was hit by a car on a highway in Davangere attacked a Forest Department official during a rescue operation. Forest officials had reached the spot and tranquillised the animal. However, before it went into deep sedation, the leopard attacked one of the officials. The injured leopard has been shifted to a hospital for treatment for injuries sustained in the accident. The animal was successfully rescued and secured by the Forest Department.

Over 11,000 seized vehicles parked for years at 100+ Bengaluru police stations will now be shifted to 26 acres of designated land across the city. The vehicles, linked to court cases, currently occupy roads and footpaths. Shifting began today from Jayanagar Police Station.
