According to HouseInHabit, during the exact week she claimed she needed to disappear due to a credible threat on her life, she was actually at Dollywood in Tennessee during peak holiday hours. A packed theme park. High foot traffic. Zero control of the crowd. If this is true, I am genuinely confused. How does someone who believes they are being hunted by foreign operatives decide that a crowded amusement park is the safest destination? Why risk her own life and the lives of everyone around her? I was thinking about that clip from Ally Beth’s podcast when she first addressed Candace’s theories and the massive audience she can weaponize to legitimize them. Ally said that if anyone crossed Candace, she’d retaliate with ten times the force. But look at the reality. Erika Kirk has been nothing but graceful, and the only “offense” on her record is being Charlie’s widow. What exactly did she do to Candace? She’s been so graceful she even flew out to meet Candace in private to address the accusations face to face, exactly the kind of quiet, direct reconciliation Scripture calls Christians to. In the middle of losing her husband, stepping into a role she never asked for, and trying to hold herself together in public, she’s endured slander, accusations, libel, and nonstop degradation.
