So... Just finished watching #DhurandharTheRevenge. Still gasping for air.... #Dhurandhar2 is more Nationalistic, Explosive & Gripping than the 1st part. Even the performances are more stellar. Yes, the narrative is convenient & some instances look far-fetched.. but they're easily overlooked as the movie takes you on a NEVER-WITNESSED-BEFORE roller-coaster ride. It's sure to cross Rs 1000 crore net in India. At this point, anything between Rs 1000-1300 crore net (ONLY in INDIA) is possible. It might go even higher. Glad to see #AamirKhan admitting in his LATEST interview EXACTLY what I had observed a few days ago. He's confessing that he's TOTALLY out of sync with Marketing trends in the post-pandemic world & doesn't understand social media at all. Realisation of the first step towards improvement. VIDEO: The 2012 interview of #AbhinavKashyap AFTER he had walked out of #Dabangg2. Here's what he had said - 1) #ArbaazKhan gave me a chance as a director when NO ONE did for 10 years. 2) I rejected 'Dabangg 2' as I didn't want to just do the #Dabangg franchise... despite repeated requests from Arbaaz Khan. 3) #SalmanKhan gave all the punchlines of 'Dabangg' and he is the FACE of the BRAND. The kind of things he is saying in his recent interview are the ramblings of a DERANGED mind. And the interviewer did NOT do basic fact-checks on his insane claims. PATHETIC work. He gave the WORST movie of the #RanbirKapoor's career. A tragedy called #Besharam. The film was such a DISASTER that no one gave him work after that. Even his own brother Anurag Kashyap has maintained distance from his as Abhinav is clearly mentally & psychologically disturbed.
