What are your thoughts on this? 18th hole, final round of The 1974 Open Championship at Royal Lytham & St Anne’s Gary Player doing Gary Player things. After the grief Bryson got last week you can only imagine what would have happened if he’d been seen doing this. If you have never seen it before see what you think. Personally I’ve never been a fan of Gary Player, been an amazing golfer and prestigious winner all over the world (he’s told us enough!) and a Grand Slam winner too, I just can’t take to him. I’m sure he doesn’t like me either so that’s fine with Me. #openchampionship

1989 Open Championship Classic moment during the playoff when Greg Norman has driven the ball miles down the hole and ended up in a bunker. Wrong club off the tee? 100% it was. At a time like this surely it's better to hit your approach shot before anyone else. Whilst about to play his third shot Peter Alliss is describing how he should play the shot, Greg can hear him through a speaker and says "He's telling me how to play the shot!"
