You can’t give such statements to any country when it comes to education. 17th February, 2025: Nepali student Prakriti Lamsal, a third year student at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), was found dead on Sunday evening in the hostel campus of the university. The incident has sparked widespread protests near the KIIT campus. Students, including many from Nepal gathered on sunday night demand a transparent investigation. In response, two platoons of police forces were deployed to maintain order. Amid rising tensions, KIIT University issued a notice and forced over 500 Nepali students to leave the university. Nepali students were seeking an investigation since Prakriti complained about the harassement and torture in the university. Despite her constant appeal, University didnot take any action which led to the incident. #JusticeForPrakriti
