Teenagers in Russia suspected of gang-raping a 13-year-old schoolgirl A group of 14- to 16-year-old boys reportedly met the girl through TikTok and invited her to a party in Kazan. There, she was given alcohol, after which several teenagers allegedly raped her and filmed what was happening on a phone, according to media reports. The videos were later circulated on social media, and the girl became the target of online harassment. There have also been reports that she may be pregnant. One of the teenagers claims he did not take part in the rape, but admitted that he “only kicked” the girl once. He later recorded an apology video. In Russia, apparently, there’s little need to fear what will happen when brutalized soldiers return from the war — there is already enough horror inside the country. While fathers are killing people in Ukraine, their children are growing up in an atmosphere of complete madness. Law enforcement officials are investigating the circumstances and questioning those who attended the party.

🛑 The Kremlin was caught off guard. U.S. military aircraft over Moscow — nobody knows what’s going on, but things are getting interesting On the morning of August 25, a U.S. military Boeing C-17 landed at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport. It’s the same type of aircraft used to transport troops, military equipment and government delegations. The plane flew from Joint Base Andrews — where Air Force One also operates from — via Riga and then straight to Moscow. What’s funny is that the Kremlin apparently had no idea who the visitor was. Peskov said he had no information about the flight and that no meetings with U.S. officials were planned for this week. A CBS reporter turned out to be better informed. The mystery visitor was CIA Director John Ratcliffe.

A huge tuna terrified holidaymakers in Marbella — people mistook it for a shark The two-meter-long fish, weighing around 300 kg, swam right up to the shore and began thrashing in the water, causing panic on the beach. It later turned out to be a tuna that had reportedly been injured by fishing gear or a jet ski and had become disoriented. When the holidaymakers realized that the “shark” actually needed help, they helped it return to the sea — literally pushing the tuna back into deeper water with sun loungers.

⚠️ Is Russia preparing its “Flying Chernobyl”? The aggressor’s terrifying new superweapon Aircraft used to track missile trajectories and measure radiation have been deployed to Novaya Zemlya, home to Russia’s main nuclear testing site — just as they were ahead of previous tests of the nuclear-powered Burevestnik missile. In the West, it has been dubbed the “Flying Chernobyl”: an accident involving the missile could potentially spread radioactive contamination over a vast area. And accidents are hardly unheard of — nearly all 13 Burevestnik tests conducted between 2017 and 2019 ended in failure. Putin later claimed “successful” launches in 2023 and 2025, but what happened to the missile afterward was never shown.

“Who started this fire?” — UK Prime Minister responds to the Kremlin’s accusations of escalation During his visit to Kyiv, Burnham responded to Moscow’s claims that transferring technology for the production of long-range Storm Shadow/SCALP missiles to Ukraine is supposedly “adding fuel to the fire.” “Who started this fire? That is the question, isn’t it?” Burnham replied. He stressed that it was Russia that launched the full-scale invasion and that it can stop the war at any moment. Speaking on Ukraine’s Independence Day, the British prime minister also said London would continue supporting Ukraine’s defense despite threats from Moscow and would help destroy Russian missiles before they can be launched at Ukrainian cities. “This is how we will accelerate their realization of what we all already know: Russia cannot win this war,” Burnham said.

🚨 President suspected of espionage: major scandal erupts in Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar has come under suspicion over alleged ties to Russian intelligence, while the ruling party is already demanding that the president be denied access to classified intelligence briefings. It all started with an ordinary car accident. It turned out that Pirc Musar was traveling with a Russian friend who is linked to a former deputy head of Slovenian intelligence who fled to Russia back in the 1990s. Parliament’s security commission called an emergency meeting and demanded that the intelligence services provide a report on possible Russian influence within the president’s inner circle. Attention has also turned to Pirc Musar’s own trips to Russia. Despite publicly criticizing Russia’s invasion, she regularly visited Moscow and St. Petersburg — including shortly before the start of the full-scale war.

The mother of a Russian soldier killed in the “special military operation” recorded an emotional appeal to Putin after she was unable to receive the compensation payment for her son’s death The family’s original certificate was taken away, while officials refuse to pay the compensation based on the photocopy they were given. “Vladimir Vladimirovich, you took our sons from us. I waited a year and eight months for my son. They brought him back without his head! What are you doing? Are you mocking us? What do you want — a civil war? At this rate, you’ll get one soon. You’ve already pushed people too far. People don’t want to go vote. How long are you going to keep tormenting us mothers? Rise up! Rise up! What are our sons dying for?” the woman shouts.

🇨🇦 BREAKING: Canada hits the U.S. with retaliatory tariffs Starting September 8, Ottawa will impose tariffs of 15%, 25% and 50% on 700 categories of U.S. goods. Canadian Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne said: “Today, I am announcing that Canada will match U.S. tariffs dollar for dollar, rate for rate. For each product, our tariff will match the U.S. tariff on the same type of Canadian good.” The tariffs will hit steel, aluminum, furniture, clothing, household appliances, electronics and seafood. Analysts estimate the measures will affect around 4.5% of Canada’s total imports from the U.S. 🔺The move comes in response to new U.S. tariffs. On Saturday, August 22, following the collapse of talks between the two countries, Donald Trump’s 50% tariffs on around $20 billion worth of Canadian imports took effect.
