Charges have been dropped against Dharmesh Patel, the man prosecutors charged with attempted murder after he drove his Tesla off a 250-foot cliff along the Pacific Coast Highway in San Mateo County, injuring his wife and two young children. In a literal miracle, all four passengers survived the crash in their Tesla Model Y. A San Mateo County judge dismissed the charges on Monday after Patel completed a two year mental health diversion program with a Stanford psychiatrist and a family therapist.

The only problem with not using your Tesla brakes much is that almost everyone has some surface rust build up. It’s incredibly common, especially in colder climates. Tesla made it easy to remove the surface rust by adding a dedicated Brake Burnishing feature in the car’s native Service Mode. You just follow the visual guides for optimal speed and pedal pressure in order to safely remove surface rust. They make it so easy. 👌🏻

I have chosen to drive my Tesla on FSD multiple times instead of flying. In the past year, I’ve done multiple ~20-hour days driving continuously on FSD, covering over 1,000 miles daily without ever needing to touch the steering wheel. We just took a trip from Toronto to Nashville as well. It was 900 miles one way, which we completed in a single day (18 hours), and it was way more economical (and fun) than flying. Before that, I did Toronto to Austin, TX (3,200 miles round trip) TWICE in July and November — all in my Model 3 Performance. Would I attempt these drives without FSD? No way. I literally push a button on the screen, and the car handles all the charging stops, traffic, navigation, and everything. It’s so easy. If you’re an avid road tripper, there’s no better car to do it in than a Tesla.

Elon: "That would be my advice for people out there who are making products or providing services, is do something that you truly love. Your customers will feel that love." Anyone who owns a Tesla knows exactly what he means.

Tomorrow’s Starship 13 flight is important for many reasons. Elon Musk has said that after a couple of perfect soft landings in the ocean, SpaceX will attempt to catch Starship for the first time. Theoretically, if things go really well and the risk is low, maybe we will see a Starship catch during flight 15? It will be so epic when it inevitably happens.
