The Tesla Cybercab doesn't have ANY brake fluid. It is the first production vehicle to have a brake-by-wire system. Electronic actuators are responsible for the clamping pressure, rather than hydraulic fluid that you see in traditional vehicles. This system improves efficiency since the brake pads can fully disengage. They can go entirely off or on. It also enables Tesla to fine-tune the braking to be as smooth as possible. PLUS, when the car is built with the unboxed process, Tesla doesn't need to run any brake lines, everything is seamless.

The Tesla Cybercab’s rear trunk is huge. It fit our two full-size suitcases and two bags with plenty of room to spare and is very easy to load and unload. It has 20.2 cu ft of storage, which is just shy of a Model 3 (21 cu ft), but is waaay easier to fit larger items since it’s a hatchback, so it actually feels bigger.

Tesla told Top Gear that the Semi can do 0-60 mph without a trailer in just 12.5 seconds. With a fully loaded trailer, it will do it in 24 seconds. Those are pretty insane numbers considering a Diesel Semi takes ~60 seconds to get to 60 mph with a full load.

The Tesla Roadster can create ~2Gs of downforce using high-speed electric fans mounted underneath the car. Unlike a traditional car that needs high speeds for meaningful downforce, the Roadster can create ~4700 kg at a standstill. Thanks John for this vid!

Elon: "I’ll tell you something, maybe at a fundamental level why the Model S/X succeeded, which is that, those cars were designed with love." Lars: "Absolutely." Elon: "That would be my advice for people out there who are making products or providing services, is do something that you truly love. Your customers will feel that love." Anyone who owns a Tesla knows exactly what he means.
