The only problem with not using your Tesla brakes much is that almost everyone has some surface rust build up. It’s incredibly common, especially in colder climates. Tesla made it easy to remove the surface rust by adding a dedicated Brake Burnishing feature in the car’s native Service Mode. You just follow the visual guides for optimal speed and pedal pressure in order to safely remove surface rust. They make it so easy. 👌🏻

I have chosen to drive my Tesla on FSD multiple times instead of flying. In the past year, I’ve done multiple ~20-hour days driving continuously on FSD, covering over 1,000 miles daily without ever needing to touch the steering wheel. We just took a trip from Toronto to Nashville as well. It was 900 miles one way, which we completed in a single day (18 hours), and it was way more economical (and fun) than flying. Before that, I did Toronto to Austin, TX (3,200 miles round trip) TWICE in July and November — all in my Model 3 Performance. Would I attempt these drives without FSD? No way. I literally push a button on the screen, and the car handles all the charging stops, traffic, navigation, and everything. It’s so easy. If you’re an avid road tripper, there’s no better car to do it in than a Tesla.

With how amazing Tesla FSD has become, I’m at the point now where I actually prefer to drive rather than fly in most cases. FSD allows you to travel cover an incredible amount of distance without any major fatigue since the car handles 100% of the driving, charging, and parking. It also makes the trips so much more fun and rewarding. People always ask, don’t you get bored? My answer is actually no, we get to explore so many new places along the way, take in the scenery more, and it’s just overall a more pleasant experience than manually driving and stressing about which exit to take etc. FSD handles all of that for you. If you have a Tesla, or are planning to get one, I highly suggest taking it on a road trip somewhere. It’ll be the best roadtrip you’ve ever taken.

The $640,000 Ferrari Luce EV has a unique way of creating sound inside/outside when accelerating. Unlike other systems (Mercedes, Hyundai, Porsche) that just use synthetic audio files, Ferrari took a different approach. On the rear axle next to the inverter, they installed a high-precision accelerometer that captures the actual mechanical vibrations and noises from the electric motors, gears, inverters, and drivetrain components. Those signals are then filtered, equalized, and amplified through the car’s external and internal speakers. Ferrari compares it directly to how an electric guitar operates. You can hear it in the video below when Lewis & Charles are driving. I think this may be the only part of the Luce I find interesting tbh lol.
