Just watched an old black-and-white video of the Voortrekkers. Before segregation, before politics, before all the labels people throw at us now. Just men and women who carved a nation out of nothing with blood, sweat, faith, and a fierce desire to be free from colonial rule. My people fought wars to survive. We built farms, towns, railways, and a future we believed in. And today… we pay a price no honest nation should ask of its own children. We always say: Moenie swyg nie. Hou moed. Die tyd het gekom. Because our values align so closely with the real America, at least our children’s children will have a future. Through it all, we remember: this is temporary. Our true home is in heaven, and one day we will return.....
