Me and Peter Wang motion sequenced every Conor McGregor fight • His karate stance disappeared over the years • Fired pull/slip rear lefts 4x/3x more • His left was only avg speed! • Better cardio than he gets credited + can u guess the fight?

Jev driving cars and shooting cops with rocket launchers in GTA 5 It could reliably drive 30 miles/hour and escape 2 star wanted levels in the city We probably aren’t taking system1 model impacts on self driving seriously enough Another fun one with Peter Wang

Xbench: Twitter as an AI Eval It's been painfully clear over the last few days that the industry has an evals problem. We joke that x is the real eval, but what if we took that seriously? What if attention is all you need for evals too?

LLMs are famously bad at understanding XLSX -- until now. Shortcut can now jump inside of attached excel files to understand them better. Here a hedge fund receives a huge model to extract data from to update their internal model. Turns hours of work into minutes.

Shortcut – the first superhuman excel agent – is live. While not perfect, Shortcut beats first year analysts from McKinsey/Goldman head-to-head 89.1% (220:27) when blindly judged by their managers. We even gave humans 10x more time. Try Shortcut now (before your boss does).

I think it's safe to say Excel is solved. The sign of an Excel rookie used to be manually using your mouse... now it's doing ANYTHING at all without AI. If you use Excel do yourself a favor and watch all 3 mins. It's a new world. Solving tasks in 20 mins that take teams days.

Prompt: Convert this professional-grade multi tab model into a standardized GAAP template. Handled industry specific nuance, clarified for preferences, filled in with exact formulas and formatting. This would take the best professionals half a day.

Asked Shortcut if I should invest in this company "Build a DCF model, use their 10k, do deep research on them, do sensitivity analysis, and a Monte Carlo simulation." Oh and build it like a KKR associate.

We had early access to GPT 5.4 to benchmark on Shortcut and it is extremely good at Excel Here is a quick walkthrough of two real-world tasks in our internal eval of 50,000+ cells each Watch, because the industry is way beyond the same flashy and meaningless DCF demo

Spreadsheets are nearly solved Shortcut A moment is coming for spreadsheet work in the next couple months like it did for AI coding in August 2024. I didn't quite appreciate just how verifiable spreadsheets were at first. Turns out spreadsheets are really just math.

Shortcut can now spin up 1000's of agents to parallel search, but we built the feature entirely around the filesystem - enabling some pretty cool new things Here I fill out a huge table of VCs we tracked for a fundraise and another table that has subtables, merged cells, etc.

We are opening up a Research Preview for a product we are calling ShortcutXL We used ShortcutXL to build and audit 100 of the most searched for Excel templates in parallel (we are making them free too). OfficeJS/Openpyxl are great, but still quite limiting. Comment for access
