I am deeply outraged by the video now making the rounds, showing President Cyril Ramaphosa at the South African National Memorial in Longueval, France, during the 110th Commemoration of the Battle of Delville Wood on 12 July 2026. In it, he is seen shaking hands exclusively with white veterans’ representatives. Not a single black veteran or representative of our black African heroes is visible. Watch it here. This comes moments after the wreath-laying and UNESCO plaque unveiling honouring South Africa’s World War One sacrifices. While the 1st South African Infantry Brigade’s heroic stand at Delville Wood — where they suffered over 2,500 casualties holding the wood “at all costs” — deserves recognition, we cannot erase the monumental contribution of black South Africans. Barred from combat by racist Union policies, 25,000 black men joined the South African Native Labour Corps, with 21,000 sent to France for vital logistical work that sustained the Allied forces. Their sacrifice culminated in the SS Mendi disaster of 21 February 1917, where 607 black troops perished. As the ship sank, Rev. Isaac Wauchope Dyobha declared: “Let us die like brothers… we are the sons of Africa.” The black labourers of the SANLC and the fallen of the Mendi form part of the continuum of our liberation struggle — fighting imperialism abroad while enduring it at home. Their exclusion today is painful and unacceptable. It reflects a government that has abandoned radical transformation and true inclusion. Why only white representatives, President Ramaphosa? Black veterans from MK, APLA and other liberation armies already face discrimination compared to old SADF veterans. This selective video perpetuates that injustice. True commemoration demands full recognition of all who sacrificed!

KALLIE, STOP PEDDLING YOUR FILTHY LIES: APARTHEID WAS A CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY! This is my personal response to this terrible interview attached hereto, in which Kallie Kriel of AfriForum spouts his filth, that apartheid was not a crime against humanity. I watched him look into the camera and reduce the systematic destruction of millions of lives, the institutionalised racist dehumanisation of an entire people, the forced removals, the indefinite detentions without trial, the torture chambers of John Vorster Square, and the cold-blooded murders to some lesser “wrong.” This is moral filth. It is the voice of a man who has never felt the boot of the system he now minimises, and who still benefits from the privileges it entrenched. I am one of its survivors. Warrant Officer Nick Deetlefs and Captain van Niekerk of the Johannesburg Security Branch beat me to a pulp. They viciously tortured me over many months of solitary confinement. I laid in my own blood in a dark cell in John Vorster Square. The blows perforated both my eardrums. I still live with more than seventy percent hearing loss. Neil Aggett did not commit suicide. He was tortured and killed there. Steve Bantu Biko was beaten to death. Griffiths and Victoria Mxenge were butchered. Craig Williamson, who helped murder Ruth First and Jeanette and Katryn Schoon, walks free, linked to the exclusive Beaulieu equestrian estate in Kyalami. Wouter Basson, “Dr Death,” practises as a cardiologist in Cape Town. The Truth and Reconciliation Commission that allowed these men to escape the full weight of justice for their wanton crimes against humanity was an unmitigated mistake. Kriel and AfriForum continue the work of defending white privilege and peddling the treasonous lie of “white genocide” to the world. They deserve no soft landing and no respectability. They ought to be charged, held accountable in full public view, and face the cells of this country’s prisons. The only appropriate place for Kriel and his ilk is jail. Apartheid was a crime against humanity. Full stop. I will not be silent while this sick denial is peddled.

This is heartbreaking and deeply disturbing: Here is yet another video exposing the depths of betrayal: #NgizweMchunu, smiling and sweet-talking a white woman in a shoe store, casually informs her that fellow Black Africans are being rounded up for deportation. With a grin, he reassures her: “Everything is in order and they are going…” He then boasts to her that he has instructed the Mayor of eThekwini to fill Moses Mabhida Stadium with “kwerekwere” so they can be deported en masse. The white woman, beaming with enthusiasm, replies: “Yes, yes, I am following!” She then asks someone to capture the moment: “Can you take a photo of us? This is something nice.” Mchunu happily obliges, posing with his arm around her. It is difficult to imagine how much worse this can get. As Steve Biko so powerfully warned us: “The most potent weapon in the hands of the oppressor is the mind of the oppressed.” Cry, my beloved country. Cry, our beloved African continent. 😭 We must reclaim our minds, our dignity, and our revolutionary consciousness — before it is too late. A Luta Continua!

This is the colonial racist, white supremacist, celebrations that took place again yesterday at the Ncome River (the racist Boere call it ‘Bloedrivier’, in celebration of the blood of the Zulu soldiers of King Dingane ka Senzangakhona Zulu, that was spilled in the river). Such racist celebrations and displays of colonial flags (watch this video, there is not a single South African flag!), should be declared strictly illegal and banned.
