Russian firefighter brought a cat back to life having rescued it from a fire in an apartment building in Tyumen. The cat’s shocked expression is priceless! 😺 This emergency worker, Sergey Belous, actually rescued *three* cats along with their cat mom, and two other people. Two of the cats required resuscitation, one of which you’re seeing here. Everyone is fine! Throughout his 10+ years of work for the emergency services, this firefighter rescued cats, dogs, and even turtles about a dozen times.

He called The Snow Queen “my destiny and my favorite film.” The film, directed by Lev Atamanov, is over an hour long and stylistically contains both realistic and fantastical features. It is based on the 1844 fable "The Snow Queen" penned by Hans Christian Andersen and is one of the earliest film adaptations of this Danish story. This classic masterpiece was released in several languages. In the U.S., it was first made available by Universal. Ghibli Museum Library later released it in Japan.
