On October 28th, 2025, Louie Tukes (badge no. 10889) of the MPD attempted to kidnap me while I was driving my 10 y.o to school. Louie Tukes then lied under oath to a judge and falsified charges of obstructing traffic, speeding, and evading arrest. Here is video of the incident.

If you are seeing this, please RT 🙏🏽 MPD and Trump’s “SAFE” task force abducted me from my home, assaulted my 10 year old, and falsified charges against me. 4 months later they still refuse to dismiss my case, take it to trial, or release the body cam footage. I want the video.

The second, and more painful to watch, is bystander footage from my friends and neighbors that shows MPD assault my 10 year old when we exited our home. The supervising officer identified as “Lt. Craig” (STEU3) slams my daughter against the house, wrestles her arms behind her into handcuffs, and pulls her from the ground swinging her body around by her arms. You will hear me calling “they’re arresting Lia! Somebody come get Lia! They’re swinging my 10 year old around by her arms!” to my community members who had come to support me. One of my friends identified himself to police as her godfather and you hear an officer say “I’ll escort you over there” and when he does, you hear “Lt. Craig” snort, “okay. Alright. Put her in the car” after which he continued to drag my minor child to a police car in handcuffs.

Story time! Here’s how MPD officer Louie Tukes tried to kidnap me outside an elementary school and then used the full force of the Trump “SAFE” Task Force to fulfill his abduction fantasy. Share so we can make Shelby County release the bodycam footage. We want Louie Tukes’ badge.

This brings to mind how Joy James talks about Angela Davis’ case in her “the architects of abolitionism” talk explaining the severing of Angela’s case from her co-defendant bc he is arguing “I am captive, I have a right to resistance” while Angela’s argument was “I am innocent.”

What it’s like to talk to police about police misconduct, including to police whose literal job is to investigate police misconduct. I’m telling you there is video evidence showing a police officer tried to assault me and you’re interrogating my response to his illegal actions.
