Scoffers constantly ask us: “Why chase proof of Noah’s Ark if your faith is real?” We’re not doing this because we doubt God’s power. When Jesus said, "As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man," His audience knew exactly what He meant. They didn't think Noah was a myth. Neither did they think the giants were. The Jewish historian Josephus wrote that the bones of the ancient giants could still be seen in his day. The Book of Enoch was widely read throughout the Second Temple period, and Jude even quotes it in the New Testament. The world of Noah wasn't a forgotten legend. It was part of the historical memory of the people Jesus preached to. Perhaps we've become far more disconnected from the world of the Bible than the first Christians ever were.

When you look at the timelines in Genesis, something really striking shows up. Noah’s father, Lamech, was alive at the same time as Adam ,the first man, for decades. And Noah’s grandfather’s line stretches even closer. These men lived for hundreds of years, meaning the story of creation wasn’t passed down through countless generations like a game of telephone, it was preserved through just a few direct links. Noah didn’t hear about Adam as some distant legend. He would have received an almost firsthand account of humanity’s beginning.

All around the Mountains and valleys of Ararat, near the resting place of Noah’s Ark, At least 26 massive "drogue stones" (giant stones with holes bored through the top) have been discovered scattered across the landscape. But what were they for? According to ancient nautical theory and insights from veteran sea captains, these weren't just anchors. They were drogues: sophisticated stabilizers used by ancient mariners to navigate unsettled waters. The Science of the Storm: A ship without an engine or sails is at the mercy of the waves. The greatest danger is falling into the "trough" which is the valley between waves, where the ship can roll parallel to the swell and capsize. The Purpose: By trailing these heavy stones behind the vessel or from the bow, the Ark could: Stay Vertical: The drag would keep the ship’s bow pointed into the waves. Lower the Center of Gravity: Providing much-needed stability for its massive weight and the precious cargo within it. Act as an Underwater Sail: Creating resistance to prevent the ship from drifting too fast or turning sideways. Imagine a vessel 300 cubits long, riding the peaks of a global flood, tethered to dozens of these massive stones to keep it from rolling into the abyss.

The moment has finally arrived. The most significant scientific expedition ever undertaken in search of Noah’s Ark has officially begun. At the Durupınar site, our team is now taking the most technologically-advanced and historic steps toward uncovering one of the greatest stories ever told, a quest that bridges ancient scripture and modern science in a way that could reshape how we understand world history. Every great archaeological investigation begins with one simple question: Where exactly are we standing? Before we look beneath the surface, we need to understand the surface itself. Our Turkish survey team has now completed high-precision mapping across 54 acres at the Durupınar site, creating detailed 3D models, permanent ground control points, and a 1 cm resolution orthophoto. This baseline is essential. It ensures every geophysical survey we conduct this summer, and in the years ahead, is built on the highest possible level of accuracy. According to ancient Jewish tradition, demons weren't fallen angels. They were the disembodied spirits of the Nephilim. The giants perished in the Flood. But their spirits remained. Condemned to wander the earth, they crave the desires of the flesh but can never satisfy them. They hunger, but cannot eat. They thirst, but cannot drink. They long for bodies they no longer possess. Whether you agree with that interpretation or not, it explains why the New Testament so often portrays unclean spirits seeking somewhere—or someone—to dwell. The story of the Nephilim didn't end with the Flood. It continued throughout Scripture.

If humanity really existed for hundreds of thousands or even millions of years as evolutionary theory claims… the population of the earth should be incomprehensibly massive by now. But when you run population growth models starting from the flood account in Genesis just a few thousand years ago, the numbers land remarkably close to the population we actually have today. Eight people survive the flood, and repopulate the world. The math according to the Biblical account works, evolution doesn't.

One of the biggest misconceptions about Noah’s Ark is that people imagine millions of species crammed onto the boat. But according to many Ark researchers, Noah would only have needed around 1,500 animal “kinds”, thats roughly 7,000 animals total. Why? Because Genesis speaks of kinds, not every modern species we see today. Noah also wasn’t required to bring insects or marine life on board the ark. On top of that, many Ark researchers and biblical scholars believe the animals brought aboard were likely young animals, making them smaller, easier to manage, and requiring far less space and food. And when you compare the number of animals to the massive size of the Ark, the whole thing suddenly starts looking a lot more manageable than people assume.

In the Grand Canyon, entire rock layers can be seen bending dramatically upward from horizontal to vertical… without breaking. That detail matters because solid rock does not fold like soft clay. It fractures and breaks. For these massive sediment layers to bend instead of break, they would have had to still be soft and water-saturated when the folding occurred. Not separated by hundreds of millions of years hardened into stone… but rather rapidly deposited and reshaped before fully lithifying. The rocks of the Grand Canyon are evidence of the aftermath of a global flood.
