For those who only knew Lucille Ball from her iconic television series, it can come as a surprise that she did have a busy film career, including 75 movies before 1950. Many were uncredited during the 1930s, but several began to stood out, including this little jazzy number in "Dance Girl Dance" (1940).

Gene Wilder in his very first film appearance, perfectly cast as the nervous Eugene Grizzard in "Bonnie Nad Clyde"..The scene was inspired by a real-life incident in 1933, when the actual Barrow gang kidnapped an undertaker named H.D. Darby and a woman traveling with him. Darby reportedly told his captors his occupation, prompting Bonnie to make a darkly ironic remark about possibly "needing his services someday." Darby later became one of the coroners who worked on Bonnie and Clyde after they were killed.
