Pastor John CW really hates former President Uhuru Kenyatta. He argues that it was ridiculous and crazy for Uhuru to spend KSh 87 billion on a 27-kilometer road like the Nairobi Expressway. But to be fair, if you think about it, President William Ruto is building the 233 kilometer Rironi - Naivasha - Nakuru - Mau Summit Road - which features more elevation than the Nairobi Expressway (for instance, stretching from Section 58 to bypass the entire Nakuru City) for KSh 188 billion…. 27 KM Nairobi Expressway costed a half of 233 Rironi - Mau Summit!

Cabinet Secretary and former Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua was left devastated and shocked after visiting the Machakos People’s Park… Once a top tourist attraction and key revenue generator for Machakos County, the park has been abandoned under Governor Wavinya Ndeti. It is no longer maintained and has fallen into a state of severe dilapidation…… sad!!!

Kenyan man living in the US arrested by ICE agents. There are rumours that he was set up by jealous fellow Kenyans because his business was doing very well!! The guy had overstayed his visa, but he had a pending asylum application!! He will now be deported back to Kenya, and once you are deported, you are not allowed to go back to the United States ever.

You haven’t experienced Maasai culture until a moment like this unfolds before your eyes. It begins like any other evening rhythmic chants rising into the air, the ground echoing beneath the feet of Moran as they leap with pride and precision. The energy is magnetic. You watch, thinking it’s a performance, something beautiful. But then, the moment shifts. The rhythm doesn’t just stay in the air, it enters the body. The chants grow heavier, deeper, almost spiritual. And suddenly, one of the warriors breaks away. Not out of exhaustion, but because something within him has been stirred beyond control. This is what the Maasai call "mori" a surge of emotion so powerful, it refuses to be hidden. There is no panic. No confusion. Only understanding. He is gently guided to sit, as if the moment itself is being protected. And then, quietly, a lady joins him. Not to draw attention. Not for affection. But to ground him, to bring him back from wherever the rhythm had taken him. For a brief second, everything else fades. The dance. The chants. The crowd. What remains is something raw, something deeply human. And just like that, the world returns. The rhythm rises again. The warriors continue. Life moves forward as it always has. But you are no longer the same. Because in that moment, you didn’t just watch Maasai culture, you felt it. And in the quiet, untouched beauty of Nguruman where the land stretches endlessly and time seems to slow, these are not rare moments. They are living memories, waiting to find you. ~ Betty Kiende on IG

The late Captain Josh, who sadly passed away in the Samburu helicopter crash, in his ELEMENT!! Josh Outran used to fly this particular helicopter, giving Hollywood stars, Silicon Valley executives, and global stars truly unforgettable experiences across Kenya. I’ve shared this clip from Luke Davis’ YouTube vlog, he and his fellow travellers spoke so highly of Captain Josh and the experience he gave them. You can skip to the end if you’d like; the gentleman in the blue shorts is Captain Josh. Tragically, Captain Josh lost his life in this helicopter near Mt. Ololokwe in Samburu. Also gone with him are Roger Duarte, Adam Navaty, Stephen Vasconquez, Henry Parra, Michael Contugi, and Suian Suarez. May their souls rest in peace. Watching this, you can’t help but wonder if this is the same Kenya we know. Experiences like these remain a distant dream for us walala hoi.😅😅
