The premier and his health minister will not be funding this Manitoban’s $300,000 medication. The minister invited Jeremy Bray and his family all the way from Rivers, MB, today just to tell them no. A cold, callous, and heartless decision by Wab Kinew and Uzoma Asagwara.

Wab Kinew thinks words are violence. He thinks Manitobans exercising their right to protest are "goof balls." He's wrong. Today I tabled over 450 emails from Manitobans calling for Minister Nahanni Fontaine to be removed from cabinet for her shameful conduct and rationalizing Charlie Kirk’s assassination. Let me be clear: Political violence is unequivocally wrong and must stop. Those responsible for vandalizing and setting fire to Nahanni Fontaine’s or any MLAs' constituency office need to be found and put in jail. But discourse is not violence. It's a part of our democracy. Manitobans have the right to ask questions and it's our job as the Official Opposition to get answers on their behalf. It is beyond shameful that the premier would respond with childish insults and equate questions to racism and violence. Gaslighting to avoid accountability. #mbpoli

Wab Kinew is paying an ex-CBC reporter pal up to $544,000/year CAD to run Manitoba's trade office in Washington... I asked the premier how he can justify paying his best friend Richard Madan (who has no trade experience) more than the Prime Minister while Manitobans can barely afford groceries. Kinew says because "he's got the looks," he’s “Trumpy,” and he's good at "storytelling." Not a serious premier. #mbpoli #cdnpoli

Remember Wab Kinew’s $500,000 U.S. trade rep? Turns out the he’s actually getting paid $700,000/year. Last year, the NDP told Manitobans that they’re paying Richard Madan — an ex-CBC reporter with zero trade experience — $387,000 to run Manitoba's trade office in Washington, DC. Government documents show that Kinew is actually paying him DOUBLE that — nearly 15x the salary of an average Manitoban. And to top it off, Madan’s being paid through a shell corporation so he can avoid taxes. I gave the premier the opportunity twice to deny all of this today. As usual, he laughed at you instead. What are Manitobans getting in return? Zero results. A year later and not a single deal or MOU signed. Manitobans deserve to know why they only get pennies off of Slurpees while their premier gives his friend over half a million dollars in taxpayer money with nothing to show for it.

Should the notwithstanding clause be available to protect children from sexual abusers? Premier Wab Kinew recently introduced Bill 50 to prevent the notwithstanding clause ever being used in Manitoba, and vowed to never use it himself. Last week's Supreme Court ruling shows the glaring flaws in Kinew's shortsighted stance. Does the premier still promise to never use the notwithstanding clause, even if that means letting off child sexual abusers? What if a future court says it's unconstitutional to have a provincial sex offender registry? Manitobans deserve an answer immediately, Wab Kinew.

There’s no denying that our world is facing many issues all at once. But Wab Kinew was elected to focus on Manitoba. Wab Kinew needs to stop obsessing over Donald Trump, Epstein, and foreign affairs and start focussing on affordability for hard-working Manitobans.

Canada is a land of opportunity waiting to be unleashed. Potential that has been cast aside by a decade of Liberal policies. Conservatives are ready to turn the tide and put affordability, safety, and opportunity back in reach for Canadian families. And I believe Pierre Poilievre is the right leader to bring on that change. For Manitobans and all Canadians. 🇨🇦🍁 #cdnpoli

Taking Crown Royal out of Canada’s largest market puts real Manitoba jobs at risk. That’s why Interlake-Gimli MLA Derek Johnson and I have written to Premier Doug Ford, encouraging him to keep Crown Royal on Ontario shelves and work together to mutually lift our provinces up. And as Manitoba’s Progressive Conservative leader, I was honoured to be on the national stage today to tell Canadians about the proud Gimli workforce behind the world’s best whiskey. But where’s Manitoba’s premier in all of this? He’s been radio silent. It’s time for Wab Kinew to start standing up for Manitoba jobs too. #mbpoli #cdnpoli

Manitoba families need help with affordability ASAP. Progressive Conservatives believe the best option is removing tax off your first $30K of income and saving your family up to $3000/year. But Wab Kinew said no. Ok, so what about the gas tax? Kinew says he needs another month to think about it before he can act. If Prime Minister Mark Carney can lift the federal gas tax without a government study, the least Kinew can do is act now to remove the provincial gas tax. Manitobans can’t afford to wait.

Crown Royal isn’t just a Manitoba success story. It’s a Canadian success story known around the world. I was on national television again this morning to do what Premier Kinew has yet to do: Advocate for Manitoba jobs and interprovincial cooperation. As a fellow Progressive Conservative and proud Canadian, I am making the case to Premier Doug Ford that Ontario and Manitoba can work together to uplift both provinces and Canada as a whole. Crown is the heartbeat of Gimli’s economy. To protect these livelihoods is to protect Canadian prosperity. The fact that Wab Kinew hasn’t put out so much as a tweet is very concerning. #mbpoli #cdnpoli

Why is the premier touting fake job numbers? Manitoba lost 5.2K jobs in August but added only 3.9K back. NDP math calls that a net increase. Reality calls that another failure by Wab Kinew. But it gets worse. With unemployment up and Manitoba’s GDP ranked dead last in Canada, Kinew’s solution is to force open-shop businesses to unionize. Manitobans deserve real honesty, real freedom, and a real economic plan. #mbpoli

Good news: Jeremy Bray will (likely) be getting treatment covered for a year. 20 hours after denying Jeremy life-saving medication, efforts by the Bray family and PCs successfully forced Wab Kinew and the drug company to provide one year of treatment. Why all the games?

What’s better than 2 cent off a litre of milk? Saving $3000 more on your paycheque every year. Last week, our Progressive Conservative team promised to make the first $30,000 income you earn in Manitoba tax free. Whether you’re a student working minimum wage, a single mom, a senior, or family of four, our plan will increase your real income. And when Manitobans have more to spend on groceries, family time, and their kids, that’s money that goes back into the economy, supporting local business and boosting provincial revenues.

Wab Kinew says he loves Avi Lewis. So which of Avi's radical policies does he love the most? No energy corridors? No pipelines? Nationalizing grocery stores and housing? These are just some of the "eco-socialist" ideas that have made all other NDP leaders in Western Canada distance themselves from Avi Lewis — David Eby in BC, Naheed Nenshi in Alberta, and Carla Beck in Saskatchewan. You cannot support strong social services without a strong economy. And you can’t grow the economy by driving out business and investment. The misguided ideology of Wab’s new boss stands in direct contrast to the leadership that Manitoba families need today.

The NDP promised 800 surgeries in Selkirk this year. Five months in and only 79 procedures done. They promised to hire 90 paramedics in 2024. They ended the year with 14. No wonder Manitoba Nurses gave the health minister a D-minus. Over promise and under deliver. #mbpoli

A woman just died and Wab Kinew STILL can’t drop his ego for a second to answer a question. Watch till the end to see the clownish behaviour. When Brian Sinclair died in 2008 after waiting over 30 hours for healthcare under the last NDP government, a public inquiry was launched. Last weekend, Genevieve Price passed away waiting over 30 hours for care—the second ER fatality this year. Manitobans need answers. There is no transparency in an internal investigation. Manitobans need a public inquiry. #mbpoli
