I probably shouldn't be sharing this. But here I am doing it anyways. Funny what living off-grid (away from society) and posting somewhat anonymously allows me to do! Well, here's my secret off-grid fashion hack.

I'm still here trying to tan the things my cat has killed. Waste not, want not!

Quit my physics PhD to live off-grid. Quit soap not long after. Giant horsetail tea — foraged, dried, steeped — does what soap can't. Silica, astringent, antimicrobial. Hair and skin have never been healthier. Funny how the "primitive" option was the upgrade.

It's time to process the nettle for cordage making... This is my favorite part!

People keep asking why I left a fully funded physics PhD to live off-grid in a bus in the woods, so I finally answered it on video

I never thought I would be this proud of cabbage.... Fermentation is an off-grid skill you should know. Here's an easy one. So, let's make sauerkraut like my grandmother used to do.
