I don’t understand why people often soft-target doctors❗❗ In a recent video, popular teacher Khan Sir claimed that doctors prescribe MRI or CT scans based on the type of vehicle a patient arrives in. Statements like these shape public perception negatively. Even when such tests are medically necessary, people begin to assume doctors are trying to loot them and they hesitate to proceed with essential investigations. What these educators don't highlight is the critical role that diagnostic tests like MRI and CT scans play in identifying and treating medical conditions. I say this with no disrespect to Khan Sir,he’s a respected figure but let’s not forget that teaching is a business too these days. His net worth is likely ₹50–100 crore. No one questions the actual success % of his coaching students, because we all know the reality. My humble request is: please don’t generalize or stereotype doctors. We already suffer due to the actions of quacks and instances of malpractice. Such sweeping statements only add to the burden of genuine doctors trying to do their job with integrity. The behavior of the Andhra Pradesh police is utterly brutal. It's heartbreaking to see doctors sitting on the roads, peacefully demanding their rights. Despite completing their internships, the APMC registrar is still refusing to issue permanent registration, even after the NMC has served a notice to APMC. Now, police personnel are forcibly removing these doctor for demanding what is rightfully theirs. Such a shameful act. In violation of National Medical Commission's guidelines, this college and authorities are unlawfully demanding money for internships without proper notice or documentation. Furthermore, their behavior towards and harassment of FMGs is a grave concern, highlighting the harsh realities of medical education. This video is from Bashkir State Medical University, Ufa, Russia. The individuals present are university officials and representatives from the Indian Embassy. The college dean,authorities are reportedly deliberately expelling Indian students, especially those in their 2nd and 3rd years, knowing that as per National Medical Commission guidelines they cannot transfer to other universities. FMGs have appealed to the Indian Embassy for intervention, yet the university authorities continue with the same stance even in their presence. Hundreds of FMGs are deeply concerned. I urge National Medical Commission to allow transfers for affected FMGs to prevent such injustices, and to issue a formal notice to universities engaging in such practices.
