A few years ago, I was a weekend dad dreaming about moments like this. Today, I loaded up the car, brought the full Track Dad setup, drove 2 hours to the AAU Southeast Regional, and watched my 8-year-old daughter line up against mostly 9-year-olds in the 400m. She didn’t just compete—she placed and brought home her FIRST EVER track medal. 🥉🏃🏽♀️ The medal is amazing, but what got me was hearing her say, “Daddy, I heard you on the track.” Only God can write stories like this. What was once FaceTimes and phone calls has turned into being present, showing up, and watching my baby chase her dreams in person. My heart is full. So proud of you, Aris.
