This happened 5 years ago today. Idol had been diagnosed with a brain tumor and we were living day to day. I was sitting on the porch drinking coffee on this particular morning and saw something out of the corner of my eye. There was a little bird borrowing some fur from Idol to build his nest. I think he knew that was the perfect fur for his little bird nest. Believe it or not, that little bird came back the next day.
