atp, i’ve accepted that social media can make people believe literally anything put an anti-government narrative behind emotional music & suddenly people think they’ve seen the complete reality you can hate the government, question it, disagree with it, whatever. but at least know the facts before forming an opinion - not everything is true because a politically driven influencer made a reel, and not everyone claiming to speak for Gen Z actually represents Gen Z. the “young people vs old government” narrative is itself being carefully framed instead of consuming another reel, spend 20 minutes understanding BOTH sides: what the government is doing now to fix the mess, and how years of administrative negligence contributed to incidents like the Satya niketan collapse yes, Rekha Gupta is accountable because she is the current CM. but accountability doesn’t mean blame-shifting. despite not being responsible for what happened in the past, she is taking responsibility for fixing it disagree with the government all you want. just don’t let a 30-second reel become your entire political education

Please tag Delhi Police in the comments and ask them to fact-check this claim. Right now, we need to stand with the students, the people who witnessed what happened, and the parents going through this unimaginable situation. This is not the time for PR, rumours or political narratives. It’s the time for facts, accountability and support.

came to satya niketan on ground to cover the PG building collapse, and while rescue operations are still underway, i saw an AISA student union protest happening here. i genuinely have one question: at a time when students and families are waiting for updates, what is the relevance of bringing politics into this? in front of me, multiple ambulances have gone in, including a blinkit ambulance and rescue teams are still working at the site. this is not about stopping anyone from protesting or raising their voice. but right now, shouldn’t the focus be on the students, the families and the rescue operation?

The moment I entered, I started seeing posters mocking the Prime Minister. Not posters demanding justice for the NEET paper leak. Not posters about the CBSE issues. Not posters highlighting the larger problems students are facing in education. It was almost entirely about PM Modi. That’s what made it feel so politically targeted. A protest usually has a clear demand - a “maang” that those in power are being asked to fulfill. But here, I saw opposition leaders being welcomed with applause and affection, while many Gen Z attendees who had simply come to observe were being exposed to a strongly political narrative. There’s nothing wrong with holding a protest against the Prime Minister if that’s your objective. Be transparent about it. But don’t organize it in the name of NEET, display photographs of students who lost their lives by suicid£, and then turn the stage into something that appears focused on politics rather than the students’ demands. If the issue is political, call it political. If the issue is NEET, keep the focus on NEET. Mixing the two, especially while invoking the memory of students who died, felt deeply shameful to me.

General category students are expected to accept every disadvantage silently, but the moment they question the system, they are called anti-reservation Even in UPSC, General candidates get 6 attempts, OBC candidates get 9, while SC/ST candidates have unlimited attempts, subject to the applicable age and eligibility conditions So when we talk about a fair education and examination system, can we honestly say that everyone is competing under the same rules? This is not about disrespecting reservation or denying historical discrimination It is about asking whether the system needs reform Should genuine economic disadvantage, access to education, family background and actual opportunities also be considered more seriously? What do you think?

Imagine that the brainwashing is so deep that Hindus feel ashamed when Shiv Tandav Stotram plays in an IPL match. Yet the same people stay completely silent when 17-year-old Surya is brutally murdered in #Ghaziabad. Their outrage depends on who the victim is. Hindu victim = zero noise. This is selective secularism.

The demand to ban Ranveer Singh simply doesn’t add up. The film was signed in May 2023 and was committed through December 2025. That’s two and a half years. Ranveer delivered a blockbuster, so wanting better pay for his next project is completely reasonable. But the real question nobody is addressing is why a film with two and a half years on the clock couldn’t get made in time. That’s on both sides, not just one. What makes this worse is how one-sided the outrage is. Other celebrities have had their share of disputes too, yet no one calls for bans on them. If this is about professionalism, it should apply equally to everyone. The moment it only targets one person, it stops being about principle entirely.
