General category students are expected to accept every disadvantage silently, but the moment they question the system, they are called anti-reservation Even in UPSC, General candidates get 6 attempts, OBC candidates get 9, while SC/ST candidates have unlimited attempts, subject to the applicable age and eligibility conditions So when we talk about a fair education and examination system, can we honestly say that everyone is competing under the same rules? This is not about disrespecting reservation or denying historical discrimination It is about asking whether the system needs reform Should genuine economic disadvantage, access to education, family background and actual opportunities also be considered more seriously? What do you think?

The moment I entered, I started seeing posters mocking the Prime Minister. Not posters demanding justice for the NEET paper leak. Not posters about the CBSE issues. Not posters highlighting the larger problems students are facing in education. It was almost entirely about PM Modi. That’s what made it feel so politically targeted. A protest usually has a clear demand - a “maang” that those in power are being asked to fulfill. But here, I saw opposition leaders being welcomed with applause and affection, while many Gen Z attendees who had simply come to observe were being exposed to a strongly political narrative. There’s nothing wrong with holding a protest against the Prime Minister if that’s your objective. Be transparent about it. But don’t organize it in the name of NEET, display photographs of students who lost their lives by suicid£, and then turn the stage into something that appears focused on politics rather than the students’ demands. If the issue is political, call it political. If the issue is NEET, keep the focus on NEET. Mixing the two, especially while invoking the memory of students who died, felt deeply shameful to me.

Yet the same people stay completely silent when 17-year-old Surya is brutally murdered in #Ghaziabad. Their outrage depends on who the victim is. Hindu victim = zero noise. This is selective secularism.

The demand to ban Ranveer Singh simply doesn’t add up. The film was signed in May 2023 and was committed through December 2025. That’s two and a half years. Ranveer delivered a blockbuster, so wanting better pay for his next project is completely reasonable. But the real question nobody is addressing is why a film with two and a half years on the clock couldn’t get made in time. That’s on both sides, not just one. What makes this worse is how one-sided the outrage is. Other celebrities have had their share of disputes too, yet no one calls for bans on them. If this is about professionalism, it should apply equally to everyone. The moment it only targets one person, it stops being about principle entirely.
