I’ve been seeing this new plywood ceiling being used instead of the regular POP. I’m conflicted about it. I prefer POP as it’s water based and so should be fire resistant up to a point as opposed to wood base. What do the building professionals think?

I came across this video from a fellow spinal cord injured Nigerian. It made me so sad because just like mine it wasn't due to any recklessness on his part. Dude was just minding his business on the back of Okada when he was allegedly allegedly shot by an officer of Nigeria Police Force Oyo State Police Command Please go to his page and help him bring light to his ordeal.

As best as you can, please avoid placing your solar panels on the roof of your house. This also goes for the rest of the equipment such as inverters and batteries. This is to reduce the risk of fire. Panels should be installed on the ground or on top of parking covers. The rest of the equipment’s can be installed in a dedicated space outside of the main living building. Despite the best intentions electronic safety equipment such as surge protectors and current breakers do fail either due to age in service, manufacturers defect or improper installation. So it’s best to situate them in a safe environment. Good luck. #DiyManiaNigeria
