Even so, watching Brinda, a 9 YO Eelam Tamil, genocide survivor, from Sri Lanka, stranded on the sea, appeal to the world left a mark that never faded. To see Maitreyi now, unapologetic about her Eelam Tamil identity, makes me so happy for Eelam Tamils.
