Bicycle enthusiasts, I need your recommendations My son has always complained that his Rockrider 20” is too small for him. He told me that if he could ride my 26”, I owed him a bigger bike. Well, he rode it, and now I have to keep my word. He handles a 24” pretty well, so we’re looking for something bigger, lighter and easier to manoeuvre and carry. I’m also looking to upgrade my own bike to something bigger and more comfortable on the knees, mainly for camping and mountain biking. Currently on the Cruztek 26” which is actually not that bad, just small.

How Gen Z sees me now VS how Millennials remember me. Different generations. Different chapters. Different primes. Yet somehow, the same story is story is still being written. Which version of me did you meet first? Which one do you remember the most? And which one do you wish I’d bring back? Maybe you were there for a chapter I’d almost forgotten.

Have you ever wondered what the difference is between people who went to Groups of Schools and YOU who went to school in groups like livestock? Today, we’re making shoe polish from scratch that doesn’t only shine your shoes but also polishes your food. Welcome to episode 3 of this mini series where I recreate the meals that raised or traumatized us in boarding school, and on the menu today we had Rice and Beans.

Life so private, no one knows Eliud Kipchoge - EGH🇰🇪 was once my teammate 😂 It’s been 10 years since we shared the stage at the Rio 2016 Olympics, carrying the hopes of a nation in the same colours. A decade later, we meet again in completely different chapters of our lives. This time not on the Olympic stage, but over a plate of butter orange and herb poached carrots with a lemongrass and kaffir lime leaf-infused mursik dressing cutting through their richness, served alongside creamy managu, grilled rump steak and ugali. Eliud took running beyond its limits and showed the world that NO HUMAN IS LIMITED. Now his dream goes beyond records, to make this world a running world, bringing people and communities together through running. My dream is to do the same with food, tell people’s stories through what we eat, where tradition meets free will and the only limit is what we’re willing to imagine. NO HUMAN IS LIMITED! NO INGREDIENT IS LIMITED!

POV: When Eliud Kipchoge thought his Olympic 🥇 could compete with my trophy cabinet 😂😂 Snails have been eaten for centuries across different cultures, from escargot in France to giant African land snails across parts of West Africa. And when cooked right, they’re actually a delicacy. So I’m curious, have you ever eaten snails? Would you try them if I cooked them for you, or is this where you draw the line 😊

My Kids also ask me, What else can you do Papa? Here’s another side quest where I made duck and goose feathered pillows from scratch little did they know it’s what they’ve been using all along. Spent a lifetime becoming different versions of myself and can be everything I want to be, but all I really want is to love them for the rest of my life and watch them become better versions of myself

They say you raise the bar with your guests& this year I started from the very top. Five years old, standing on my shoulders, doing what he does best. Together we made a Kenyan classic. Ugali, Nyama choma and Kachumbari. One day he’ll stand on his own but today, we stood side by side, growing my greatest legacy and my best friend. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Courage is not the absence of fear, but the conquering of it. Do one thing every day that scares you. Face the things you fear most, because every time you confront fear, you take away a little of its power. What are some of your biggest fears you want to conquer?
