Turns out that what the regime in Iran were doing with the frozen dead bodies from the January massacres was far worse than what most of us had imagined. And even then we were Iransplained by piss pot western “influencers” and “journalists”. Watch (if you can) ⬇️

Sure Keir Starmer don’t get involved with war in Iran but here’s the huge issue you’ve totally underestimated: you promised to put the IRGC on the terrorist list and you didn’t. You recently promised again and still haven’t. It is key to how we perceive your “decency and respect” and hope for “a stronger, fairer Britain” to quote your speech this morning. This is not political advice, it’s a suggestion as we are talking about a human rights issue: if you want us to believe that you and your party care about human values, the quicker you put the IRGC on the terrorist list, shut down the IRI funded terror centres around Britain, shut the embassy of the Islamic Republic and freeze their assets, the sooner you’d convince us. If not - from the standpoint of millions - it looks like you, and many on the left currently attacking Iranians supporting freedom for the people of Iran, are standing with literal terrorists. Our country is already going down a very dark path with rising antisemitism and - because of the Islamic Republic spreading their hate - rising Islamophobia. The time to act is now. Not just for your own political survival but for the whole world. On Jan 9th here with Matt Frei when news of the massacres was just filtering in and visibly traumatised when the number of dead was thought to be 12,000. The correct estimate is on my pinned tweet.

There were so many posts from the political left before war broke out on Feb 28th saying “you know who was not in the Epstein files? Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei”. To Iranians, shockingly ignorant posts. But they were correct. He wasn’t. Mainly because this kind of paedophilia, including child brides, is not only legally sanctioned, it is wholly endorsed and even encouraged inside the Islamic Republic of Iran. There are no legal protections for underage girls. Mullahs and others can abuse them with absolute impunity. So where is the outrage from the west? As if the stoney silence wasn’t bad enough, there is also now a warped view developing of what’s going on inside Iran that “all is back to normal”. Today is day 82 of a regime imposed internet blackout. Rest assured it is anything but normal. It is beyond shameful how the western media is turning its gaze away from what’s happening inside Iran regarding how the regime is abusing its citizens. Please watch this. Well said Nima Yamini 👏

The World Cup starts in two weeks and millions of football fans around the world may still be confused about Iran. Why is the flag such an issue? One flag you’ll see inside stadiums brought in by the fans represents 2,500 years of history, civilisation, culture and identity known as “Iran”. The flag you’ll see on TV represents terrorism, massacres, torture, executions of innocents, the murder of its own football fans & footballers and known as “The ‘Islamic’ Republic of Iran”. There has never been such a chasm between a ruling regime and a people desperately trying to separate themselves from it. There is no confusion amongst Iranians. One is their flag. The other is not. Football belongs to people not governments. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Please watch and share this video by Payam Mohamadi | پیام محمدی

Incredible video. Afghan dad jokingly says school is only for boys. Watch his remarkable daughter - who can’t be more than 5 or 6 years old - respond with these arguments. Afghan girls have been denied access to schools and universities. This little girl's courage represents the collective voice of countless Afghan girls who yearn for equal educational opportunities. As an advocate for girls' education the father's teasing is simply to highlight an important message: that the Taliban - another backward regime - are harming the people of his country. It’s time the world is done with them. Ditto the “Islamic” Republic in Iran #regime

This is a very important post by NPOV please watch. Anyone who is not aware of what is going on inside Iran and the worst extermination of human beings in contemporary modern history, be aware that the regime is dominating social media algorithms. #IranMassacre

🔴 We have waited for this. And now it’s happening: a stark rebuke of the Islamic regime in Iran by one of the Arab world's most senior diplomats. Iran’s ideology claims it defends Islamic causes. But the bare facts are now exposed: for 47 years Iran has used a proxy network funding and promoting Hezbollah, the Houthis, Hamas, and allied militias across Iraq, Syria, & Sudan all in the name of “a resistance movement defending Islam and the Palestinian cause”. It is a sham that many fell for. Arabs countries finally calling bs on Iran is highly significant and the final nail in the coffin of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Watch:

During the #WomanLifeFreedom movement - when so many protestors were also killed and thousands more executed - I was honoured to read out a collective message at the UK parliament collated from over 1,000 inside Iran about the wishes of the people. What’s changed since? 40,000+ slaughtered for protesting in January this year. Hence the resolve of the people on the ground - despite the utter nonsense spouted by so many so-called ‘influencers’ in the west - is more firm and persistent, more committed, with or without foreign intervention. With the internet cut (day 76 today) important to post it again now. Please share.

A voice is from inside Iran. Not from a political analyst. Not from a commentator. From someone who was tear-gassed and shot at. “The truth is, most people were shouting for the return of Prince Reza Pahlavi. But when you’re being tear-gassed and shot at, you start running. You grab the hand of the first person next to you and run for your life, just to avoid falling into the hands of these executioners. At that moment, it never occurs to you to think whether the person with you is a monarchist, a republican, or anything else. All we want is to get rid of these criminals. We don’t even think about anything else. Please be my voice. Especially tell the diaspora: social media fights are not the voice of the people of Iran. We just want freedom.” #IranMassacre

Morality police attacks a woman not wearing hijab in a car. Watch her fight back despite getting punched in the face. To the undecided men: choose a side. And for the sake of humanity make interventions. This woman is all women of Iran. You’d do well to support them.

THIS is punk rock🤘 Fans of #TheClash who still sing: “The Sharif don't like it, Rockin' the Casbah - did you know it was about Ayatollah Khomeini and the Islamic Republic of Iran regime? Joe Strummer had a unique perspective on the world. Born in Turkey he grew up moving around, his father in the British diplomatic service exposing him to different cultures from an early age. In Iran today, artists perform underground as people continue to fight for cultural freedom. The message behind #RockTheCasbah is clear: even when authority tries to silence a whole population, the music keeps playing. Thank you brit_hits_rewind via Instagram 👊🏼

The moment on BBC Newsnight Jan 8th when an observation I made carried an implication that I was asking the former head of MI6 where he was getting his information from. Join me next week when I ask Sir David Attenborough what makes him think he knows so much about animals.
