Nick’s reasons for Catholicism over Orthodoxy: 1. “Peter and Paul established Rome”: They established other churches that are Eastern (Antioch, Alexandria, Thessalonica, Ephesus, etc) 2. “Constantinople is Muslim now”: It fell immediately after becoming Uniate, not to mention Rome has fallen 7 times in history and the language that y’all say has unique grace attached to it (Latin) has in effect died out. Why is temporal chastisement evidence of being the false church only when it’s Constantinople? 3. “It’s clear Peter is the rock”: This is just a strawman of our position, Peter is the rock and the patristic consensus is that every bishop inherits Peter’s divinely appointed authority. Not to mention we have 2 directly Petrine Sees (Antioch and Alexandria). Nicholas J. Fuentes you should have another discussion with Jay Dyer. Perhaps this time you can debate the geopolitical infiltration of the Vatican.

I understand back and forth smack talk, but the second you start attacking Jay’s marriage you have automatically lost any moral high ground. He and Jamie have a wonderful marriage, my wife and I had the pleasure of going out to dinner with them on multiple occasions, they also welcomed us into their home. They pray and read the psalms together regularly. Yet you accuse him of being a son of Satan while praying for the death of Orthobros and “prophesying” his divorce. Lord have mercy. Bruce Lee

Protestants seem to fundamentally misunderstand why we want to debate them. We DO NOT grant that we have the same faith. For us, the Eucharist is our Salvation. We worship the Eucharist. We would give up everything in our life if it means we still have the Eucharist. Does this sound like the same faith as Cliffe? Does this sound like a tertiary issue? No. And this is why these debates MATTER

Reasons the Orthodox Church is true and Mormonism is false: 1. Mormonism claims to restore the Gospel; the Orthodox Church never lost the Gospel. 2. Mormonism invented new rituals; the Orthodox Church preserved the original Christian worship and sacraments. We even have the liturgy of St. James the brother of Jesus. 3. The Orthodox Church honors the consensus of the Church Fathers; Mormonism largely ignores them. We should probably listen to the Saints who literally knew the Apostles. 4. The Orthodox Church canonized Scripture and preserved its interpretation; Mormonism adds extra-biblical scriptures. Mormons wouldn’t know which books belong in the Bible without us. 5. The Orthodox Church centers on Christ and the Eucharist; Mormon worship centers on emotional experiences. In Liturgy, even the priest is just a humble participant. 6. The Orthodox Church has verifiable by-name succession for 2000 years back to the Apostles; Mormonism is reliant on one “prophet” and his testimony for their succession. 7. The Orthodox Church has answered every metaphysical, ecclesiological, epistemological, philosophical, and historical argument posited against it; Mormonism is still in infancy on trying to make their system work with external criticism. 8. In every century since Christ, the Orthodox Church has been present just as it is today; Mormonism was invented in the 19th century. Where was a Christian to go in the 2nd - 18th centuries to find truth? 9. Christ founded one Church and promised hell would not prevail against it (Matt 16) and that He would be with it in EVERY age (Matt 28). If these words of Christ are true, then Mormonism is false and the Orthodox Church has seen these words of Christ fulfilled. 10. Become Orthodox☦️
