The death of Charlie Kirk may very well lead to the salvation of my LEFTIST friend. Don’t just just cut them off. I have a leftist friend who I have maintained a relationship with for over a decade. Last week he told me that Charlie Kirk was a vile man. He didn’t condone the violence. But he certainly had no pity for him or his wife. I told him, if you think he’s vile, then you must necessarily think I’m vile, because my positions are more right wing and radical than his! We then got into a heated discussion about politics, then onto theology, then onto Christ and the gospel. The conversation ended well. Then, last night I sent him a video debunking the mainstream media lies about Charlie’s second amendment rights positions, and asked if he still fought those positions were “vile” after our conversation, or if he could concede that they are actually reasonable and we can just have a civil disagreement on gun police’s. He then sent me a voice message saying that he had begun doing his own research, and he agreed that those positions weren’t “vile.” He then went on to tell me that, after years and years of gospel, conversations and prayer on my part, he’s going to buy a Bible, and he wanted to know what translation to use. I’m sharing this right now, because I want you all to know that the people in your life that have radically different political views than you, NEED YOU to love and pursue them. They need you to pray for them. They need you to proclaim the gospel to them over and over and over and over and over again. Please pray for my friend. Pray that Christ would make himself known to him. And that he would repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. And if you happen to read this unnamed friend, now I got thousands of people praying for you. Christ is coming for you!

We are praying for this nation. We're people of the Book, and the Book tells us to pray for our leaders, even if we don't agree with them. And Trump is one of our leaders. He was a president. And Joe Biden is one of our leaders. He is the current sitting president. There aren’t many things that President Biden does that I agree with, but it is my job to pray for him anyway. And certainly to not bring him harm. I can disagree with him and still honor the office and still honor the person. And certainly not engage in any kind of stupidity like some of the rhetoric that has gone on in the last 48 hours—and really has gone on for the last several years. Some of you are really too serious about what happens in the White House. If you'd concentrate half as much on what happens in your house, you’d be in a whole lot better shape. That's really the common denominator of success. It hasn't got anything to do with those guys up there. Yes, they do some things that affect our lives, but I've had several of them try to ruin my life, and they hadn't pulled it off. And I've had several of them try to make my life better, and they haven’t pulled that off. I'm old, and I've seen presidents that were going to be the end of democracy, and they weren't. And I've seen presidents that were going to be the second coming of Jesus, and they were not even close. I think the problem is that the level of anger has to do with the expectations of what the office can provide. Treat these people like people—they have families, they have children, they have friends. I've got friends who are congressmen, friends who are senators, and the stuff that they have to put up with… Some of you are just out of control, and you should not spend your money on Financial Peace University—You should spend it on counseling. Concentrate on fighting for or against ideas. When you have to vilify or destroy a person because you disagree with their idea, you've already lost the argument, because you've lost the high ground. You don't have to destroy people for your idea to win.

What happens is they didn't disclose their debt going into the marriage or the family situation or the fact that they were bankrupt or they outspend their other, and the marriage breaks up on financial stress. That's the number one reason for a divorce. You have to go get a prenup that forces you to disclose your liabilities so that you're going into the marriage understanding what you're marrying. This is very important.

This family lost their uncle last month and they finally got into the house to start the cleanup. They knew he collected things, but seeing the scale of it in person was something else they said. “This is going to be a long month.” That is not a collection. That is hoarding.
