In 2006, Tyson gutted their Norfolk plant so no competitor could buy it. It's sat empty ever since. Now they've closed Lexington instead of selling it, killing competition and manipulating cattle prices. That breaks the Packers and Stockyards Act. Tyson isn't above the law.

Today I’m in the geographic dead center of Nebraska, about 10 miles out from Broken Bow. This land is beautiful. We need to protect the water below it from Wall Street and Silicon Valley who are already scheming to buy up our farmers’ water rights for their data centers. The Ogallala Aquifer took thousands of years to fill. It belongs to Nebraska families, not tech billionaires.

Here I am fixing the brakes on my Campaign Manager’s RAM hoping to get your attention on an issue I care a lot about as a mechanic – Right To Repair. Right to Repair is simple: if you own something, you should be able to fix it or take it to a technician you trust. But for decades, big corporations have chipped away at this right by making repairs difficult, expensive, or even impossible. We need Right To Repair. We are forcing Pete Ricketts to do his job. Yesterday, Ricketts was asked about the Packers and Stockyards Act, and he said his “team is looking at any allegation of wrongdoing” by Tyson. We don’t need another investigation. We don’t need another useless congressional report that leads to nothing. We need ACTION! Tyson workers and Nebraska ranchers need you to demand that USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins immediately initiate an action to hold Tyson accountable for any market manipulation.

'Surveillance pricing' is when companies use your data to charge you more. Your browsing. Your income. Your mouse movements. Data brokers sell it to corporations who want to find your "pain point," the highest price you'll pay. Surveillance pricing is wrong. I'll vote to ban it

Today we released the final ad of our campaign. My closing message is the same as what I started with. Right now, it’s too hard for too many. Nebraska families deserve to have enough at the end of the week to buy groceries, to have a house, set money aside for Christmas and college, so all there’s left to worry about is bake sales and little league.
