Madonna herself had been performing in the 'Superbowl' half-time show that year, and she and her team, and close friends were watching it that night. This clip is from February 5th, 2012 at the bar from inside the 'Regent Beverly Wilshire' hotel in Los Angeles, California. This seemingly cheerful moment remains to be a bittersweet moment in her life, as just 6 days later she would tragically pass.

Superstar vocalist, Fantasia performing 'Lady Marmalade' in tribute of Patti LaBelle. This performance took place during the 'UNCF 30th anniversary,' at the Kodak Theatre (now the Dolby Theatre) in Los Angeles, California on September 13th, 2008. The event was a televised gala entitled, 'An Evening of Stars: Tribute to Patti LaBelle.' Later to be aired on January 24th & 25th, in 2009. And was in honor of Patti's long-time patronage of the organization. Alongside Fantasia, this event consisted of performances from, Jennifer Hudson, Brian McKnight, Yolanda Adams; former members of Patti LaBelle's own group: Nona Hendryx & Sarah Dash. And featured taped video segments of Wyclef Jean, Mariah Carey, and Beyoncé; whom all paid homage to the singer. From 1980 to 2006, the 'UNCF,' through these events, had earned up over 200 million dollars over it's years through these televised concert events to support historically black owned colleges, and fund scholarships for black Americans, and for other racial and ethnic minority groups in the U.S.

Her responses are witty, and highlight true happiness in ones own independence. This clip comes from 'All by Myself: The Eartha Kitt Story,' a documentary produced by Christian Blackwood (also the interviewer in this clip) in 1982. This documentary showcases a very private glimpse into her life, her career, and the many obstacles she'd overcome.
