New Jersey gun owners just won! In a 10-5 decision, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals struck down New Jersey's ban on commonly owned semiautomatic rifles and magazines over 10 rounds. The court was clear — these firearms are protected by the Second Amendment. This victory belongs to the ANJRPC, Firearms Policy Coalition, NRA, the plaintiffs, and every attorney who refused to back down. For our friends in New Jersey, this is a major win, but the case has been remanded, and the state is still reviewing its options. We're waiting on legal guidance before updating our policies.
