Following Congressman McHenrys retirement, I’m running for Congress in North Carolina's 10th District. Join me in fighting for a future that's true to our values and the America we cherish. This isn’t just my fight; it's our fight – for our families, our community, and the America we believe in. #ncpol

This week, we advanced President Trump’s America First agenda, again. We’re pushing forward his budget framework, cutting reckless spending, extending tax cuts for hardworking Americans, and giving Border Patrol the tools they need to do the job. We put our Military Installation Retail Security Act on the map, because there’s no excuse for a CCP-owned company to operate on U.S. bases. Period. We passed the SAVE Act to ensure only American citizens vote in American elections. And we reined in activist judges who’ve been weaponizing the courts to stall Trump’s agenda. This is how we restore American strength, with bold leadership, unapologetic action, and results that put the people first.

Today, before me, CMPD Officer Justin Campbell testified about the system that failed him and his brothers in blue. Officer Campbell responded to the Galway Drive ambush where 4 officers were killed. He dragged them out of the gunfire, broke his leg, and later lost that leg. His words were clear: “The judicial system in Mecklenburg County is trash. The magistrate system has no idea what they are doing. This cashless bail system is a joke.” Roy Cooper built this system. His refusal to hold violent criminals has cost officers their lives, cost families their loved ones, and cost heroes like Officer Campbell his leg. THAT is Cooper’s legacy.

This week, I introduced the Military Installation Retail Security Act, a bill that does what should’ve been done a long time ago: It bans companies owned or controlled by China, Russia, North Korea, or Iran from operating on U.S. military bases. It’s unbelievable that the Chinese Communist Party currently owns and operates over 80 GNC stores on our most sensitive military installations, potentially collecting personal data from our troops, including elite units like our Green Berets and Navy SEALs. That’s a national security threat hiding in plain sight, and it ends with this bill. We owe it to our servicemen and women to protect them from the moment they step onto base. That means locking down their data, cutting off foreign influence, and shutting the door on adversaries who never should’ve been allowed on our military bases to begin with. This isn’t political. It’s common sense.

While speaking at the NCGOP State Convention on Memorial Day weekend, I chose to honor two fellow 3rd Special Forces Group Green Berets, Staff Sergeants Dustin Wright and Bryan Black, who were killed in action on October 4th, 2017, in Niger. I committed that when I’m in Congress, I’ll endeavor to do two simple things: Don’t fight wars we shouldn’t fight, but let our Troops win the ones we do. Over the last 4 years, we have seen the brutal consequences of failed and weak leadership. That's why now more than ever the greatest nation on Earth must become truly great again, and I hope you will join me as we do just that.
