Microsoft and Oracle last reported more than $1.3 trillion of signed contracts they haven't delivered yet. Both say demand is outrunning supply. The AI question isn't demand. It's how fast they can build. Thursday I'm on Yahoo Finance right after $INTC reports. It's The Week Ahead In Technology for October 26, 2026. $MSFT, $GOOGL and $AMZN report back to back. I care less about beats than backlog becoming revenue. Oracle hosts AI World and its investor day. It expects about 13% of its backlog to become revenue within a year; Microsoft, about 30%. $INTC: the 14A customer-commitment window is open. Customers set the clock. $KLAC, $SKHY and $NOW report. ServiceNow: agents in booked revenue, not pilots. I'm in New York for Cloudera EVOLVE26 to talk sovereign AI. So who turns backlog into revenue fastest?

$QCOM buying Modular was about more than adding another AI asset. I sat down with Modular CEO Chris Lattner and Qualcomm CEO Cristiano R. Amon on why the industry needs a better software model for heterogeneous compute and how Qualcomm + Modular intend to attack it. If they can make it dramatically easier for developers to target CPUs, GPUs and accelerators without being locked into a single architecture, this could matter a lot.

The Week Ahead In Technology for August 3, 2026: AMD won the relevance argument. Now it has to prove the gigawatts turn into revenue. Last week the AI buyers reported. This week the sellers do. $AMD reports for the first time since Helios hit full production, with OpenAI, Meta, and Anthropic committed at gigawatt scale. Hope to see it in the guide. $ALAB and $LSCC cover connectivity and FPGAs, $ANET the network build-out, $IONQ the quantum side, and $PLTR the AI software read. It’s also memory and storage week. FMS turns twenty in Santa Clara with Samsung keynoting a memory-centric vision for AI, and $SNDK lands the season’s first pure-play NAND read with memory pricing power finally back. $SPCX opens its books for the first time ever. Starlink is the engine, Starship is the spend, and with OpenAI and Anthropic in the IPO queue, this debut sets the tone for AI-era mega listings. Black Hat, DEF CON, and Ai4 collide in Las Vegas with AI on both sides of the security fight and Microsoft keynoting on agentic security. In Washington, the Senate takes up kids online safety and AI chatbot bills. Carrying over: EU and California AI transparency rules are now live. Labeling AI content is the law.

Microsoft and NVIDIA argue AI belongs on your desk. In one year, we've gone from token maxing to the cheapest correct answer, and these new devices will be a huge part of the solution. It's The Week Ahead In Technology for October 5, 2026. Microsoft's Windows and Surface event in San Francisco: Satya Nadella, Pavan Davuluri and Jensen Huang, with RTX Spark on the program. $MRVL investor day: Google holds a warrant that vests on up to $120B of custom chip purchases. Not TPUs. TPU attach. Carry-over: AI agent safety goes in front of lawmakers. OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Meta testify under oath before the New York City Council. I've said this is product safety: a runtime problem, solved with engineering, not a pause. Is this the beginning of the on-device AI wave? I think it is.

The Week Ahead In Tech in 90 seconds for August 17, 2026: AI infrastructure has three constraints that more accelerators cannot fix: power, software portability and memory. I will be attending ModCon, where Modular, now part of Qualcomm, is scheduled to discuss Mojo 1.0's open road ahead, make additional hardware announcements and present a unified AI compute layer. Six U.S. grid operators and their transmission owners must justify their large-load tariffs to FERC or propose changes. The Hot Chips tutorial program covers HBM, advanced packaging for HBM, a 3D-DRAM accelerator for generative inference and RISC-V. The questions are who pays for grid upgrades, whether Modular stays open across CPU, GPU and NPU, and whether memory can keep pace with AI demand.

The Week Ahead in Technology for the week of March 9, 2026. $ORCL is the most important enterprise tech earnings print this week. $500B+ in remaining performance obligations is a staggering number, but RPO without revenue acceleration is just a backlog problem. This quarter tells us which one Oracle has. $HPE gets its first real Juniper integration test. $ADBE has to prove Firefly is a revenue engine, not a demo. $PATH, $RBRK, and $S complete a loaded slate. Meanwhile, Apple reviews are hitting all week after 7 product drops. The $599 MacBook Neo is the most interesting product Apple has shipped in years. I am speaking at the Dell Technologies Federal Symposium in DC this week. SXSW kicks off its 40th year in Austin. Embedded World opens in Nuremberg for edge AI and RISC-V. And NVIDIA GTC is next week. Is the $599 MacBook Neo the start of a real price war in laptops, or a one-off from Apple?

The Week Ahead In Technology for March 30th. $SNX is the key tech earnings read, best proxy for IT channel demand into Q2. Intel ships its first 18A-based vPro commercial platform this week. Core Ultra Series 3 with vPro, 125+ designs, vPro turns 20. AI-powered DTECT threat detection is the standout. Carry-over: Micron Technology can only supply 50-67% of key customer demand. HBM TAM projected at $100B by 2028. Shortage through 2030. OpenAI raised $120B+, killed Sora (estimated ~$15M/day burn). Anthropic at a reported $19B ARR looks like the smarter model. The April 14th semiconductor tariff deadline is approaching.

The Week Ahead In Technology for April 20, 2026: I’ll be on the ground at Adobe Summit and Google Cloud Next, both in Las Vegas. Adobe is an agentic customer experience read. Google is the AI infrastructure and agent read: Gemini Enterprise, new infrastructure, the cloud backlog. Enterprise software earnings: $NOW, $IBM, $SAP. The read is whether AI agents are extensive booked revenue, not pilots. Semis: $INTC, $TXN, $LRCX. Lam is a clean WFE/HBM/advanced packaging print. Intel’s 18A under Lip-Bu Tan is the one to watch. Carry-over: Anthropic enterprise revenue ramp vs OpenAI, Section 232 phase two.

The Week Ahead In Technology for May 18, 2026. $NVDA Wednesday after the bell is the first hard test of whether $725B in 2026 hyperscaler AI capex actually lands in Jensen's revenue line. I'll be at Dell Technologies World in Las Vegas, where Michael Dell 🇺🇸 and Jensen Huang share the keynote stage Monday to likely unveil the next generation of the Dell AI Factory. Watch for the AMD angle too, after Dell's PowerEdge expansion with Instinct earlier this month. $SNPS reports the same evening as NVIDIA, a second read on AI infrastructure design demand. Lenovo Thursday on AI PCs and servers. Intuit on agentic AI in the SMB stack. Carry-over: @CerebrasSystems after its 68% IPO pop and Friday pullback, and the reported clearance of NVIDIA H200 sales to major Chinese hyperscalers following the Beijing summit. Both feed directly into how Jensen frames forward guidance. I'll be on CNBCOvertime right after the NVIDIA b

The Week Ahead In Technology for March 23, 2026. RSAConference is the big event this week. Also attending HP Imagine in NYC. No major tech earnings this week, but GTC carry-over is massive: NVIDIA's $1T pipeline, Vera Rubin, Groq 3 LPU. Micron nearly tripled revenue. And the Super Micro indictment puts $2.5B in alleged AI chip smuggling to China front and center. Export enforcement just got real.

It’s my 3-month trainerversary with Barton Bryan and here is my progress report. As a reminder, I spent the previous 12-months focused on weight reducation (60lbs/20 PBF reduction), Zone 2 fitness (95%+ percentile Vo2Max), improved diet-sleep-stress management, and gut biome. - Strength is way up on the major exercises we do weekly like Barbell Bench Press, Lat Pulldown, Leg press, and One Arm Dumbbell Rows. We’ve also put a major emphasis on developing core stability as I have scoliosis (19-degrees), spondylolisthesis, and an inguinal hernia. To counteract my asymmetrical mid-section, we focus on eccentric control, proper form, and not letting overcompensating creep in when pushing close to failure. - Along with the strength improvements and muscle growth, I’ve also see some nice aesthetic changes to my physique over the last three months. My chest and arms are fuller and more defined. My legs are slowly growing too although they are a bit more stubborn than the upper body. Here are some specific metrics: 15% strength increase on bench press in November, 33% strength increase overall on chest press and 1.75” added to chest/back. No added inches to waistline! 40% strength increase on leg press. - As Barton and I look ahead, I joke that when I bench 300 lbs, I’ll no longer require his coaching. I definitely feel like we are on a journey together to optimize my health, physique, and full potential (move over Bryan Johnson !!). Barton has advised me to be patient as the strength gains inevitably slow down a bit after the first three months of training and we build strong, foundational muscle mass for improved health span as Peter Attia says. I’m all in for the journey. Can’t wait to see what happens in the next 3-6 months! Enjoy one of my motivational songs when I workout.
