Duke ringing the victory bell for the 2nd straight year. Exactly what you want from a rivalry game. Emotional and intense. Dukes fake field goal and Anderson Castle’s game winning TD the difference. 32-25

Bill Belichick did his best "on to ETSU" in his first press conference since all the news of last week. He did acknowledge the seriousness of the investigation, but also hid behind it. I tried to press him with questions he could or should be able to answer. #UNC

#Canes aren’t skating today but Rod Brind’Amour is. Happened to catch a few moments of him coaching his son Brooks junior canes team at Lenovo. Rod was coaching them harder than his own team!

The contrast between these answers about what they've done with and drank out of the Stanley Cup is everything. The #Canes beautiful locker room harmony where a Seth Jarvis and Jaccob Slavin can both co-exist.

Interesting quote from Taylor Hall today talking about the way the #Canes play. He said when he got traded from Chicago, he wasn't in shape enough to handle the amount of skating. He says Rod Brind'Amour's fitness level sets the example.

If youve been in #Canes locker room youve seen Seth Jarvis take off his shoulder brace. Something hes worn since tearing his labrum in his shoulder in the fall of 2023. Now he finally had surgery. 4-6 month recovery. Jarvis led CAR with 32 goals last season, imagine him healthy?

After historically bad defensive performances vs SMU and Stanford #UNC got blitzed again by Cal. It's year 5 for Hubert Davis and the same problems keep presenting over and over. He was supposed to preserve UNC tradition, but is starting to erode it.

First chance for Belichick to discuss the internal investigations findings that demonstrated "a disregard for Carolina's values and standards of conduct." I asked Belichick how they are being fixed, Brendan Marks asked if Belichick was surprised by the findings. #UNC

#Duke didn't lose, but you wouldn't know it in the locker room. A disappointed and frustrated group after a 71-65 win over Siena. No one more upset than Isaiah Evans who put a lot of it on his shoulders.

Between the black eye, the hood and a late flight back, Seth Jarvis didn't seem like he wanted to be at the podium, but he did manage to do performance art with this answer about "remembering being young playing on this stage". #RaiseUp "I don't know why you think I'm 40!"

Many Wolfpack fans were ready to move on from Dave Doeren after a season opening WIN over ECU. 13 years the fatigue is understandable, but the way he finished the season proves love him or hate him he’s still the guy for this job. They dominated Belichick and UNC 42-19
