Recently at the Rock Cathedral, we received Dr. Mike Ervin, Head of the Political & Economic Section of the U.S. Consulate, and Mr. Ojani Walthrust, Political Officer for the southern states of Nigeria. Our conversation centred on matters that affect millions of Nigerian lives — issues of justice, peace, security, and nation-building. Real solutions require real understanding, and true peace is never merely the absence of conflict; it is the presence of justice, strong systems, and a shared commitment to human dignity. We remain optimistic that collaboration, clarity, and sincere dialogue can help build the Nigeria we all long to see — a nation where every citizen is protected, heard, and valued.

For many years, Eko Hotel has been part of the story of The Experience, welcoming our guests from around the world and hosting many of the conversations and moments that precede that remarkable night. So there was something particularly special about joining friends to celebrate 50 years of Eko Hotel, an institution that, over five decades, has become such a familiar part of the Lagos story. To everyone who has contributed to that story through the years, thank you for the excellence, warmth and hospitality. Congratulations to the General Manager, Deacon Danny Kiouporoglou; the Managing Director, Ghassan Faddoul; the Chagoury family; and the entire Eko Hotel team. We wish you continued success as you welcome the world to Lagos and carry this distinguished legacy of hospitality into the years ahead. Congratulations, Eko Hotel. What a milestone.

Hello Family, After almost four weeks away, I have missed the home church, and I am delighted to be back with you again. We are profoundly grateful to The Master for the victories granted and the success that our diaspora teams enjoyed while we were with them in the North American tour of duty. And guess what? I have returned with this thought in my heart: Regardless of what life throws at you by the way of challenges or opportunities, God’s grace is much more than enough. It is true that God’s Grace saved us and God's Grace found us. Once more, God's Grace has kept us. But have we fully considered what else grace can do through us? Noah found grace and he built an ark that preserved humanity. Esther found favour and became the instrumental person in the preservation of her nation. Paul received grace and through his life came much of the amazing New Testament canon. So, what becomes possible when the life fully yielded to the abundance of God’s grace, steps into divine purpose? The scripture tells us that those who receive the abundance of grace shall *reign in life* through One, Christ Jesus. This Sunday, join me as we explore the theme: *God’s Grace* _Is_ *_Much More Than_* *_Enough_* Date: Sunday, the 27th of September Time: 9:00 a.m. promptly Venue: The Rock Cathedral, Lekki, Lagos, and online. I look forward to seeing you again. Warmly! *p. adefarasin.+*

Dear Family, Trusting that this meets you well, winning and on top of the tests of life. You might be aware of a video which has been circulating on social media showing me in what some have misunderstood as brandishing a firearm. I want to assure you of this — that, that was certainly not a firearm, and at no point did I point such at anyone. We understand the concern that this accusation may have caused, and we will speak briefly to this mischief during the 9:00 am service tomorrow. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Yours truly. Paul Adefarasin. —/////— Hello, Family. Destiny rarely meets you in the comfort zone. Peter heard the Master say “come”, and then he stepped over people’s opinions, stepped over his feelings of inadequacy and stepped over the supposed safety of the boat even in the midst of a dreadful storm. The storm is not always the barrier. Sometimes, the barrier is the familiar voices around you that are hardest to step over. When God calls you to new levels, it is because He sees potential in you that you do not yet see yourself. And the price of fulfilling that call is the seeming insanity of leaving your comfort zone… for the divine invitation to walk on top of what others are sinking in. In the pursuit of becoming a water-walker, it is not enough to merely set goals. You must also anticipate and navigate the barriers between you and the call to be the exception. This Sunday, we will explore what it means to step over those barriers and to live from the place where the pressure is under your feet and not over your head. Because faith does not make you better than others. It just makes you different from the majority. My theme this Sunday is: *_Step Over It_* Date: Sunday, 8th of June Time: 9 AM Venue: The Rock Cathedral, Lekki, Lagos You can also join us via livestream on YouTube or Facebook. The links are right here below: YouTube: Facebook: Do not permit the level where you are comfortable to keep you from God’s next calling upon your life. See you soon — on top of the water. One of the moments that deeply blessed me was taking a moment to encourage Kaestrings. God has entrusted him with a sound that is reaching this generation in a remarkable way, and I wanted him to know that such a gift must be stewarded with humility, faithfulness and unwavering devotion to Christ. May the Lord continue to strengthen him, enlarge his influence for His glory, and keep him faithful to the assignment.

For two decades, Lagos has opened its gates, raised its lights, and held the sound of worship with unshaken pride. Governments have changed. Policies have shifted. Skylines have risen. Traffic still argues with destiny every morning — yet one thing remains constant: Jesus. From the mainland to the Island, from Ojuelegba to Eko Atlantic, Lagos has carried The Experience like a crown — a city where sounds become stories. This year, we gather again. One city. One sound. Jesus United. 🎙️ Voiced by IB Quake — A Tribute to Lagos, Home of The Experience. 📅 5 December 2025 ⏰ 7PM till dawn 📍Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos #TE20 #JesusUnited #Lagos

An August Visit In May We reflect with pride and gratitude as we ponder the inspiring visit of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to Nigeria. Their presence, rooted in the noble cause of the Invictus Games, has brought hope and empowerment to our wounded soldiers, veterans, nationals and womanhood. This cause, reverberating Princess Diana’s compassion, resonates very deeply with us. Meghan’s ancestral ties to our land and ethnicity underscore the rich histories bonding their lineage and our peoples together. Having prayed for their mission’s success and safety, we further desire that they continue to inspire and uplift all whom they encounter. In solidarity with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, our armed forces, and our veterans, we strive for a world where compassion, and strength unite. p.adefarasin+ Media Credits: - - Google Images - Governor Jide Sanwoolu on Instagram - TVC News Disclaimer: We do not own the rights to the photos and videos used in this post.
