Lets map it all out. And start deciding where we put that funding. And if it works get more funding. The really beautiful thing here is its solving a problem for two sides. We can solve a problem for patients who I think are comically disenfranchised from value creation in biopharma. And then we solve problems for scientists. In the East, fishing villages became skyscrapers in a generation. Imagine Asia applying that same scaling mindset to life science and biotech. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) preserves 2,000 years of systematically recorded clinical insight. Modern studies have explored its formulas, but results are scattered, sample sizes small and omics data very rare. Much is entirely overlooked by the West. Not because it lacks potential, but because the compounds aren’t patentable and there’s little incentive to run trials. I’ve taken lion’s mane and cordyceps for years. I find the impact profound. Asia’s cities virtualized almost overnight. If Asian medicine is digitized, it will leap ahead of the West. What if we start by digitising every TCM protocol? Chemical fingerprints, PK/PD data, real-world outcomes, IP tokenised on chain. Picture community-governed Bio Protocol DAOs in Guangzhou, Singapore, Seoul, and Kuala Lumpur Running adaptive, crowdsourced trials. Rewarding replication. Surfacing lead compounds. Honoring holistic context. Open infrastructure beats closed pipelines. We should start mapping TCM’s heuristics to global standards. I’d love to see a DAO focused on this. $BIO is also looking at running trials in the region and manufacturing. Building in DeSci? In APAC and need funding? DM me
