RTÉ is trying to obscure the reality that 38% of TV licences are not being paid and there is an enormous boycott campaign underway across Ireland. The TV licence should be scrapped as a regressive indirect tax that hits working people hardest while the richest sit on billions.

Block everything✊ We must learn from the Italian workers in Ireland. I'm glad the protest immediately left from the Dáil to march to the port - join them there if you can. It starts with workplace walkouts and pressure within unions. We must act. We must end this genocide.
