If all the soccer players here grew up playing American football, they’d make it to the NFL because they are smarter than NFL players. Sit with the absurdity of that for a minute.

USMNT player Alex Freeman is the son of an NFL WR with incredible genetics. He is the *athlete* you keep talking about. He is a good professional soccer player but not world class because the bar for this global sport is so high.

7 yr old kid doing this with both feet while your kid can’t control the ball aged 10. Football isn’t a sport you just pick up and put down. You’re either committed or crap.

You don’t get this smooth and two-footed without early engagement and a lot of practice.

You don’t need to learn 20 skills. Just get really good at one.

You think your kid can start soccer age 12, play three sports until 14 then be competitive in high school. They’ll quit because they can’t compete.

“Ball mastery is pointless work.” Wrong. It has incredible value at the youngest ages.

You don’t need to be big to be a great soccer player. This is a game of intelligence and artistry.
