Yesterday at sunrise I was standing on the banks of the Derbyshire River Wye as the mist drifted along the water, flowing towards the old stone bridge at Haddon Hall. For a few brief moments the river looked like molten gold, and I thought you might like to share in the beauty.

If you need 2 minutes of peace and calm today, before the rush begins in earnest, please relax with these quiet scenes of the beautiful Peak District, changing week by week as the seasons pass. It is such a privilege to capture this very special place in every weather, light and mood, and share it with you. My photography is not about the grand, iconic views, but the little moments - the trees, the animals, the lanes, the woods, the sleepy villages, the gates. These are the tiny, often unsung elements that make this landscape whole, the stitches that hold the fabric together. We are all richer for noticing and appreciating them. Thank you for being there alongside me. I am so, so grateful for your support. x
