DFLers hosted another great convention in CD5 today! It was great to join folks to nominate my congresswoman, Ilhan Omar.

This weekend, I joined the Somali community in Willmar for lunch at the Somali Star restaurant. Minnesotans are going to show up for our neighbors. That's who we are.

Congresswoman Craig is the crypto industry's champion. There's even an NFT that says so. That's why, on the first day of the Minnesota State Fair, she headlined a crypto conference with Eric Trump. Minnesotans deserve leaders who serve them, not Trump’s grifts.

Donald Trump's mass deportation agenda was not a secret. So when the Laken Riley Act came to the floor, we knew what would follow. But Congresswoman Angie Craig voted for it anyway - the only Minnesota Democrat to cast a vote supporting it.

There's a big difference between Congresswoman Craig and me. She does the bidding of corporations and crypto bros. I don't.

I want to pass Medicare for All. I want to ban prior authorization. The insurance companies don't. That's why they're backing Congresswoman Craig in this race.

Congresswoman Craig stood by her vote for the Laken Riley Act while ICE was in the streets terrorizing Minnesotans. After Alex Pretti was killed, she was asked if she regretted her vote. She said no.

Coming up, I was the kid who qualified for free and reduced-price lunch. The cafeteria at Aquilla Elementary School is where I received a lot of meals that I really needed as a kid.

Today, we learned that Congresswoman Craig would not be joining us at the DFL endorsing convention in Rochester. If you can’t face your own party, you’re not ready to face a Republican. I’ll still be working hard to earn your endorsement. I hope to see you there!

I was one of the founders of Minnesotans for Paid Family and Medical Leave. After years of organizing, we got it done. Starting January 1st, Minnesotans won't have to choose between a paycheck or taking care of a sick loved one.

How do we pay for Medicare for All? I want to spend our money on the people who need it, not on more tax breaks for Donald Trump and his billionaire besties.

Leadership is about judgment. Minnesotans deserve a leader with the courage to stand up to Donald Trump all the time, not just when it’s politically expedient.

It feels a little surreal to cast a ballot with my own name on it for the United States Senate. Too many people are working hard, doing everything right, and still struggling to get by or get ahead. That’s why I’m running – to help people afford the lives they want to live.

President Trump is the grifter-in-chief. He just made $1 BILLION in crypto sales. I don't think the president should use his office to enrich himself. But last year, Angie Craig was the only MN Democrat to vote to let Trump get rich selling crypto coins.
