I can control your balance I made a device that sends DC current through my head to stimulate my vestibular nerve (called galvanic vestibular stimulation or GVS) and, in doing so, can make me feel completely destabilised. By changing the direction of the current, it can make me fall in that direction. Hook that up to keyboard controls or a joystick, and suddenly you could have your own remote control human. Naturally, my first thought was man I wanna play trackmania with this. What else should I do? I do not have enough self-preservation, clearly lol #gvs #technology #science #trackmania

I can control your balance PART 2 I made a device that sends DC current through my head to stimulate my vestibular nerve (called galvanic vestibular stimulation or GVS) and, in doing so, can make me feel completely destabilised. By changing the direction of the current, it can make me fall in that direction. BUT NOW, I mapped the telemetry of an in-game plane and synced it to the balance device, so that the g-forces experienced by someone in the plane would be proportional to mine in real life. So cool imo #gvs #technology #science

I'M SO EXCITED that we've made the WORLD'S FIRST 3D TWITCH STREAM!! We've been working on this for MONTHS and FINALLY we could do our first public playtest It's a real-time, interactive 3D livestream where viewers can join as flying sprite avatars and explore a live LiDAR-scanned point cloud of me from any angle - everything synced up with my regular twitch broadcast Full 360, no avatars, no assets, with integrated twitch features such as synced audio, twitch chat, a screen with the regular 2D stream displayed on it, and customizable sprite avatars that SHOW UP on the 2D stream as if they're in the room with me! This is only the beginning - we're working on collision, mini-games, AR, VR, and real holograms, deeper twitch integrations, and improved aesthetics / surroundings + a whole bunch of other things. I CAN'T WAIT Come by if you want to know more :) and come join our future playtests!!

HUGE UPDATE My twitch 3d livestream is now in VR and AR! We've basically made a hologram that can be shrunk down to sit on your desk!!! The 3d livestream is a real-time interactive point cloud (built using LiDAR cameras) of me, synced up with my regular twitch broadcasts. It's full 360, uses no avatars or assets, and has integrated twitch features such as chat, a movie screen with the normal 2D stream displayed, and customizable sprite characters that viewers can control and move freely about the space with AND they show up on the regular stream as if in the room with me. We've recently gotten collision working so I can swat viewers away and send them flying, added a racing minigame with hoops that also show up in the normal stream, and ultimately made VR / AR HOLOGRAMS I'm so excited and it's only gonna get better. We're adding more interactive features, working on better aesthetics, and creating REAL NON-VR holograms that can ACTUALLY sit on your desk!! I can't wait Follow the project here and on and swing by if you have any questions or if you want to join future playtests (please do ahaha) :)

I coded AR glasses to show Twitch chat so that I can read chat literally anywhere... Here's them in action while I'm in the trees, and skiing down a hill at Hemel Hempstead They're unironically so useful and there was no way I was gonna be able to read chat (at least not easily) while streaming otherwise Hope you think it's cool :)

Controlling a robot arm at Meta's hackathon with only mind control was so surreal! Way more like this to come I'm imagining concepts (e.g., getting angry) for 4 controls: opening, closing, & moving up and down Thanks to GripMind for letting me work with them on this project :)

I played Baby Steps, but Using My Actual Legs The 2nd stupidest project and the least accessible hands-free gaming set-up I've ever done Using EMG (reading electrical signals from my muscles) I linked moving my right and left legs to moving his in the game. I heard this game was hard with a controller as it is but here we are It was SO TOUGH to start, but soon I feel like I got into a pretty good rhythm haha ... even though it took me HOURS This was so much fun and thanks to Upside Down Labs for introducing me to the kit :) What should I do or play next? #BabySteps Baby Steps - OUT NOW! BLACKS OPS 6 with MIND CONTROL! I remember playing other FPS games and things like Warzone and Zombies a year ago with mind control and it's improved so much Our movement's more dynamic, I can do more things like throw grenades and crawl, and overall we're just out here WINNING

I got to try out DecartStream with Decart during TwitchCon and it's kinda cursed in a fun way Here's a video of the highlights and omg Basically you can write in whatever prompts you can think of to their browser source and it'll change your cam with surprisingly low latency I had such a fun time genuinely and I'm really curious (and scared lol) to see where this tech goes :)
