I’m sick of reading AI slop, so today I’m open-sourcing my /no-ai-slop skill that removes 20+ slop patterns from any piece of writing. 📌 Get the free skill here: If you find it useful, please consider starring the repo so more people can find it. Why I built the skill: I use AI to edit my writing because it helps me fix spelling, grammar, and clarity. But even the best models keep producing the same slop that this skill removes: → Binary contrasts: “It’s not X. It’s Y.” → Throat-clearing openers: “Here’s what nobody tells you.” → Fake-profound endings: “The future isn’t coming. It’s already here.” Use this skill responsibly. I always write a first draft manually before iterating with AI on edits and I make sure to do another manual pass at the end as well. My last open-source skill, /no-ai-slop, clearly hit a nerve with 4K GitHub stars. Today, I’m introducing /human-review, another free AI skill I think you’ll love. Let’s face it - giving feedback to AI in chat is painful. Asking it to “update the 3rd paragraph” or “update image size to X” is annoying when I just want to edit the text myself or give feedback to AI directly on the page. /human-review opens HTML and Markdown files in a visual editor that lets you: → Edit and format text directly → Resize images → Leave comments for AI like a Google Doc I've been using it to edit PRDs, landing pages, product copy, and much more. I set these engineer bots up with Dr. Eggbot [a bot to create other bots]. One of the things I told Dr. Eggbot to do is to make sure that the eng lead's job is really to break down tasks into smaller pieces and delegate and supervise other bots rather than do work on its own. You can see in the description, it even has the bot IDs in there. Today, I’m open-sourcing /fuck-cancer, an AI skill that helps patients and caregivers navigate cancer diagnosis and treatment and advocate for themselves and their loved ones. Here’s what patients and caregivers have told me since I shared my mom’s story: “You have to be a huge patient advocate. Ask questions and push for answers, biopsies, and proper testing.” “I need help navigating difficult conversations and advocating for myself.” “The volume of doctors, documents, and insurance paperwork can quickly become overwhelming.” I built the skill to help with these problems. It creates and updates a practical brief with five sections: 1. Patient and care-team information for easy reference during calls 2. What to do next, limited to three specific actions 3. What we know, separating confirmed facts from what remains unclear 4. Medical terms explained in plain English 5. A care log with recent updates and decisions It builds this brief from documents, and context you provide. When research is needed, it uses trusted sources such as the National Cancer Institute and the ClinicalTrials gov API. I use it with ChatGPT/Codex and Claude Code to prepare for conversations and research.
