I know this is a rough build of the game, but Wolverine should not be able to traverse around like this This illustrates how not every character can support an open world format, the traversal sucks, but it's just due to Wolverine not being a character with fun traversal

Watching these fighting mechanics really got me wondering if Rockstar can hit this same level of depth and intensity with GTA 6. The combat here looks fluid, impactful, and actually skill-based not just button mashing and it makes you think about timing, positioning, and reactions. If Rockstar can bring that kind of detail into GTA 6, it would seriously elevate how encounters feel, especially in close-range fights. Given how much they improved melee and physics in RDR2, there’s a good chance they’ll take things even further this time. If they pull it off, fights in GTA 6 could feel more grounded, unpredictable, and way more engaging than anything we’ve seen in the series before.

This clip from the 2022 GTA VI heist leak is still one of the most interesting ones to look back on. You can actually hear Lucia casually asking an NPC, “How’s those registers looking?” and then someone in the background goes, “Empty, I hope” 😭 it’s a small moment, but it adds so much personality and humor to the situation. It’s details like that which really stand out. Instead of everything feeling scripted and stiff, the dialogue sounds natural, like an actual robbery with people reacting in real time. Even the way the NPCs behave and respond adds to that tension and realism. Another thing that caught my attention is that timer at the top of the screen it show how long you have until cops are dispatched It’s such a simple UI element, but it completely changes the feel of the robbery.

All the moments in Trailer 2 that I think are actually gameplay. Not straight-up raw gameplay, but scenes that look like they’re running in real time just with tweaked camera angles or that cinematic in-game camera Rockstar loves to use. It feels less like pre-rendered footage and more like gameplay dressed up to look like a movie. A lot of these shots have that natural movement and detail you usually only get when it’s being rendered live, which makes me think we’re seeing the actual game just presented in a more polished, cinematic way.

Rockstar appears to be uploading new folders to their servers 👀 It looks like they’ve been adding files possibly related to tomorrow’s trailer. The clip is from a Brazilian creator, but you can spot the folders/files updating in real time. Could be nothing, but the timing is interesting.

Hot take, but I’ve always felt Vice City is easily the worst GTA. I’ve never fully understood the hype around it. Don’t get me wrong the atmosphere is amazing, the 80s vibe is iconic, and the soundtrack is one of the best in the series. Tommy and Ken are great characters too. But once past that, the game itself doesn’t hold up as well for me. The map feels small and empty, especially compared to San Andreas, and even GTA 3 felt bigger in some ways. Driving around and exploring isn’t that fun, which is a huge part of what makes GTA games enjoyable. The missions are where it really loses me. Many feel repetitive or straight-up frustrating, especially early on. The RC helicopter mission inside the building is a perfect example more annoying than fun. It often feels like the game is just throwing obstacles at you instead of offering natural progression. To me, it’s always felt more like a quick follow-up to GTA 3 than a fully evolved entry, leaning heavily on style over substance. It has its moments, but compared to the other GTA games, it just doesn’t hit the same.
